I have also had experiences of feeling “institutionalised” after a vacation, and I have felt incredibly lonely and disconnected on returning home. But those feelings would usually pass after a few days. If this has been going on longer than a few weeks I would strongly suggest having a chat to a doctor or therapist. I wish you well You’re not alone. I spent a term studying abroad and was never “home sick” until I came back to the Original houston Astros Circle New Logo Mascot Shirt in other words I will buy this states. After living there, it’s my life goal to move there; it felt like being a fish in the ocean instead of being a fish in a tank. I visit as often as I can and maintain fast friendships with people I met there. Yep. I lived abroad for a few years. Moved back home to be closer to family and I’m just depressed. I miss my old lifestyle that living abroad gave me. This is how I feel when I have to come home from a hunting trip or any wilderness adventure. No matter how bad the trip was, bad weather , delayed flights, sinking boats, it doesn’t matter. It’s always a let down to go come back in to town.

Was it your first international vacation? Maybe this trip has inspired you to shake your life up and change locations. I’ve lived in several countries and it is always an adventure. Look into employment opportunities in Europe that will allow you to live and work. You can always go home when and if you get homesick. It wasn’t, I did a similar trip but to different countries last year and also lived in Toronto for a year when I was younger but none of those times I came back with the Original houston Astros Circle New Logo Mascot Shirt in other words I will buy this blues. Something hit different this time and I can’t figure out what that is. Don’t have none of that. Well, my parents and pets of course, but no commitments or responsibilities like a spouse.
