Breathwork can be a little bit easier to do when you don’t feel motivated. I like the Funny james hetfield 45 years 1978 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt Also,I will get this fourfold breath to calm me down or in for four out for four no hold Maybe you can try meditating before you go to sleep since you have to sleep every night, and you are always going to be trying to relax and slow your breathing to sleep, you could use that time to meditate. It’s easy to do every day if you work it into something you already do every day, sleep! In my experience, my depression gets a lot better after just a week or two of meditation. It’s not a silver bullet, but the benefits are noticable. My problem is that after about two weeks of consistent meditation, I feel “better” and I think I don’t need the meditation anymore. Then I slowly get worse again, slow enough to not notice until a few months later when I suddenly have an “oh shit” moment. It’s kind of like anti depressant medication. If it starts working, that means ITS WORKING and you need to keep doing it. Don’t stop!

Rest. Depression is rest. Naps are my favorite mode of meditating. 🙂 Coloring can be meditative. Everything is a meditation really so, there are no rules. You can do as you need to and rest. You are in the Funny james hetfield 45 years 1978 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt Also,I will get this Divine position to learn other modes of meditating that benefit you best. You hate the disconnect and not the people. It’s people’s inability to connect these days and see you. It’s exhausting. The way you minimized the depression as you did by saying it’s non-clinical actually shows in your own words you need help, everyone gets sad or has minor situational depression that works out generally fast and naturally but it becomes clinical when it negatively impacts your life which it clearly does as your expressing interruptions to your mediations from it and are looking for ways around it. Those are red flags for clinical depression. What is preventing you from meditating or attaining whatever state you’re seeking must be addressed by spending that time treating the depression. Only a trained therapist/councilor can really do that. Friend/Family talk alone tends to minimize more serious issues which is why at least a basic professional assessment would be strongly advisable!
