I think its been fine. I just feel that a lot of them are just either parroting the Winnipeg Jets 2025 Central Division Champions shirt so you should to go to store and get this judges or Trixie. After all, he did it 3 times and other queens deserve that opportunity. No more Raja either, she hosted 3 seasons. Wouldn’t want her plastered in everything after all. Meh, it’s always been kinda boring. You can tell productions use it to further the same storyline they are trying to push on the main show. We’ve only had 2 non-DR queens be guest judges thus far so I don’t think it’s excessive. I don’t really think you should be a guest if you at least have not appeared on the main show, though, in some form, so I wasn’t thrilled with Brittany being a guest. But otherwise I’ve been enjoying it as much as ever. I can never really expect them to 100% be honest because the Pit Stop is directly associated with the main show so they aren’t really gonna sit there and tear apart Ru and Michelle’s critiques because that would be them criticizing their own product. Poeple complaining about Trixie as the host as if she didn’t give us great seasons like 13 and AS5. I think the issue is mostly the guests, and is not because they are not drag queens, it’s because they don’t seem to love drag. They could bring Nicole Byers and she’d give a great episode, as she has done already. I have to admit to not love this Pit Stop, but at least I’m still watching, I did not finish Bianca’s seasons.

A 35 minute recap show needs to have really entertaining personalities with bold opinions to avoid being a slog to get through. I thought the Kahmora episode was the best one so far. She was there for the Cher episode, she had so much knowledge about the Mackie references, her rapport with Trixie was hilarious. She looked stunning, as usual. It’s a shame so many people didn’t like that one. I think her Cher knowledge was valuable. Her commentary on the challenge? Less so. She was fine – better than I would have expected because she seemed pretty comfortable – but it was too much content about her friendship with Trixie for me and not enough about the competition. I agree wholeheartedly that I only want to hear the opinion of drag queens on my recap shows. I get enough civilian opinions on social media lol.

I’m pretty easy to please in all honesty and up until now Kornbread’s pitstop episode was the only one that I didn’t enjoy. But, personally I really love seeing queens from previous seasons on the pitstop so all of the non-queens isn’t for me.

Also I think there could be a little oversaturation, atleast for me since she is already involved in a lot of drag related things. I also think we need a fresh take/new blood in the hosting seat to give some new life to other girls. We keep rotating the same 4 or 5 girls for years it’s bound to get stale. I think some of the newer girls would jump at the chance.

I can’t imagine that I’ll stop watching, but last episode was a real low, for me. I got the sense that he hopes to be friends with the Season 16 queens, too, and was avoiding saying anything bad about them. Which normally I would respect! But the Pit Stop should be shady. It’s free content they put up on youtube. They’re not telling you anything that you didn’t see in the show. Brittany Broski and Orville Peck can absolutely talk about drag (the gatekeeping is beyond stupid), but I do understand the complaints about having them on in lieu of former contestants. People watch Pit Stop for them, not to see Trixie’s best friends. I do love Trixie as a host, though.

Some haven’t been drag queens per se, but they do know drag. It’s like the people who have the audacity to tell Michelle Visage that she doesn’t have a right to be there. She’s been a part of the drag scene for decades. She knows as much about drag and its history as Ru does.

I knew it wasn’t going to be as good as past seasons once they announced it was Trixie. Only thing is that it lacks those really funny moments. They’re still enjoyable to have on and just listen to. Mostly good, but I would like to see some girls from S15, this is their best chance to get some airtime off their own season. I’m generally enjoying Trixie’s Best Friends Race, though the guests so far have leaned more diplomatic/reserved in their commentary overall, whether that’s due to production nudges or just their own temperaments. She also often seems to match her energy to the other person’s, which is notable if you go 2-3 episodes without someone rowdier to mix things up. Hopefully there are a few good chaos agents whose schedules worked out for some later episodes! It hasn’t been terrible, exactly, but we got a little spoiled with it providing major moments during nearly every episode for the past several years. Even the “bad” episodes were almost monumentally bad.
