Is not only an asterisk for most admins, but can be downright a red flag to some paternalistic people in education. These kids have been given up on and tossed aside time and time again and when someone like myself actually takes the time to invest and get nothing back, that’s very taxing mentally, emotionally and spiritually. You earn respect you do what you need to do and if you don’t understand then he steps in. He was honestly the best and I cannot praise him enough.
