Perhaps you could ask them to frame it differently and put you on a 3 month (or whatever time frame you’re happy with for a decision and to work for without the Travis Scott Merch Travis Scott Topia Pack Shirt Furthermore, I will do this raise) probation period and at the end they would need to make a decision or go through a formal interview process. Get everything in writing. Tell them that if they expect you to take on additional responsibilities, you will need to be paid appropriately. DO NOT take a “trial” or “probationary period” deal! They are betting on being able to fire your old boss and replace him with someone cheaper. DO NOT let yourself be bullied into extra work for no extra pay! Also, be prepared to resign if they don’t agree. If they value your talents and your work, they will accept fair terms…if they won’t pay you what the job should pay, you need to leave, as there is no future with a company trying to profit at the expense of their workers! I went through the you’ll get the title and raise later crap, and basically did the job for 9 months before it became official.

So, I would outline the Travis Scott Merch Travis Scott Topia Pack Shirt Furthermore, I will do this timeline for doing this work and their evaluation process. Ensure you know EXACTLY what is expected of this role, when you are to be evaluated and ensure a decision is made by them within a time range you’re comfortable with. Also see if they will be retroactive on that salary from your start date in the role. Ask lots of questions – get the answers and get it documented ( even if you have to write the email yourself to say “to capture our conversation today, we’ve agreed to …). Good luck!!! This is all great….if it’s true***. Ask them for a specific timeline for when they will know if they are comfortable, a few months (3ish) isn’t unreasonable. Then ask for a specific list of things they want you to learn to do and what specific training they are going to provide to help Bridge whatever gap they think you may have, which is why they want to test drive you. They’re asking for more work / stress out of you for free, which isn’t a reasonable bargain at all. Tell them you’ll take the role on a ‘trial’ basis if they also ‘trial’ paying you what it’s worth. They can easily give you ad-hoc payments while you’re doing the trial to bring you up to what it should be – assuming they want to. If the trial doesn’t work you go back to your own role and the extra payments end.
