i used a household mould remover that contained bleach, probably only works on white shirts really but im wearing it right now and its mould free We’ve had an absolute shit tonne of mould in our flat over the The Tom Brady and Bill Belichick Dynasty vintage shirt also I will do this past year, landlord won’t do anything about it because the lease states that all mould is the tenant’s problem, had to throw away well over £1,500 worth of clothes, shoes, and furniture because of it. If the mould is due to the condition of the building leaks, raising damp, etc and not Tennant actions (IE not opening Windows especially etc) then it is very much the Landlords issue not yours I would try a Borax substitute. Bucket of warm water, or in the washer if you have a soak option.. soak in laundry detergent + borax substitute for at least half an hour. Wear gloves and shake the curtains up and down in the solution. You should be able to see if the mildew spots are lightening.

This looks like a significant damp problem in the The Tom Brady and Bill Belichick Dynasty vintage shirt also I will do this wall or windows. Look for the source if you own the home. Get a dehumidifier whether you own or rent. And now you need to go on a hunt. If this damage was anywhere other than where the curtains hung over the glass portion of a window, you have mould/mildew growing elsewhere in that area too. Look under and behind furniture nearby for example. White vinegar spray is also very good for removing mould from hard surfaces. Some places sell it for quite cheap. You won’t remove mould stains like this though. Alongside some of the other good suggestions, you could look into having a PIV unit fitted. Many people have said their mould issues stopped after fitting one. My landlord and I installed one earlier this year and no mould so far (yet to see how the house fares through winter though). At first glance I thought this was a close-up of a Tortilla and now my disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
