Work in Europe. I’m a teacher in Germany and get 15 weeks off a year. What a crock of bullshit to be so stingy about your days off. By the Thanks giving happy turkey day shirt Furthermore, I will do this way, you can’t truly relax nor “see Europe” in 7 days sounds exhausting to do so and not really fun Your boss is being unreasonable. My coworker just went away to Europe for 2 weeks, and even more It’s only the two of us in my department so him going away effectively doubled my work load for 2 weeks. Yes it sucked but I understand everyone deserves a break and I never once felt it was unfair that he got to take a vacation. Go to Europe and call in those 2 days. Let them fire you so you can collect unemployment from them. You’ll find something better I’m so sorry to hear that. In my opinion any job that denies you vacation doesn’t seem fair at all. Having a good work-life balance is important and if your boss is denying something so basic you should strongly consider quitting. You shouldn’t have to work in an unhealthy environment like that.

Thanks giving happy turkey day shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

If you give short notice of vacation, you’re asking. If you give plenty of notice, you’re telling them. Big difference. Would be a shame if you caught Covid when you got back home and you’ll have to call out sick for a few extra days. Teachers shouldn’t plan vacations during the Thanks giving happy turkey day shirt Furthermore, I will do this school year. Retail workers shouldn’t realistically expect a lot of time off in November/December. Things like that. But I guess, to your boss, only rich people should be allowed two weeks paid time off to go on a European vacation. How elitist… I stopped at “vacation to Europe”. Don’t. Just move to Europe. Don’t care which country, it’ll be better than the US.
