OP, do you really assume that this is how everyone feels? I was stuck in school at 15, with very little control over my life, and a lack of understanding about so many things in the world. I’d argue I didn’t even fully know what my passions in life were until my 20s. (Not that I didn’t know what I liked, just how deep and interesting my hobbies and interests actually were) and not being limited to the small pool of people you experience in a school, you can branch out and know so many other people with passions similar to yours.
