You have no contract with AEG, and as others have explained you have no legal footing here. AEG have every right to re-list their item at a higher price if they so wish. Doesn’t look like you have any legal options on your side. But always worth tweeting them with the Spirit Bird Natural Organic Music Xavier Rudd shirt also I will do this situation. Sometimes their social media teams are empowered to resolve stuff like this. Appliance store worker here: Can confirm that at the moment stock of small and large appliances really is working this way. Especially if a model being phased out, random stock could be available or not from their own warehouses or wholesale suppliers and change with daily updates. There’s nothing illegal about it unfortunately. They may well have been out of stock, and then sent more(of what they thought there were none left) to store and prices have genuinely gone up, like everything else sneaking up In price rapidly lately. What’s happened does seem quite immoral though so I would personally contact them directly at the customer complaints department, asking to speak to a manager, and tell them how you feel about it and pop in a complaint. If you’re polite and curtious about it they may well issue you a voucher or something for the difference. Get angry and rude you’ll probably walk away empty handed
