IMO they are taking advantage of you. They are going to give you new responsibilities and probably make you continue some of your older responsibilities as well Get it all on writing, have them set a time frame, list of expectations. That’s simple management. If they are not willing to set a time frame then they are just buying time till they can fill the Some Men Think A Woman Wants Money Cars And Gifts She Really Wants A Man Who Doesn’t Count Her Horses shirt moreover I love this role. Also check the job postings to see if they list the role for outside hires. Been there, I would go back in time and reject the offer. I was offered a manager position and more pay after some “seat time” in the position. They finally did the promotion, but to a supervisor, not a manager (huge deal where I worked). Also, I never got the raise. I would tell them that you politely decline the offer because it doesn’t come with the pay and promotion, just more headaches.

Paperwork is your friend here. Get dates set for everything. Get land marks and expectations IN WRITING. Read every single word and don’t be afraid to make changes. Talk to your team so they can help you reach those goals. ” I understand your trepidation in giving me the Some Men Think A Woman Wants Money Cars And Gifts She Really Wants A Man Who Doesn’t Count Her Horses shirt moreover I love this title change and pay raise outright. I would like to propose a two-week trial period in which I can demonstrate that I am capable of the added responsibility you are asking of me. At the end of the two weeks, we will both have an idea if the role is a good fit for me. At that time, should things go well, I will request a pay increase and title change to reflect my new role within the company. Otherwise, I will begin looking elsewhere for more gainful employment.”
