The recruiter’s job is to find you a job & some get bonuses or commission for job placement, time to find a new recruiter. Recruiter mad and scolded you for being sick? F them!!!! Also leave a review on them and even send a letter to the Saint. raymond academy for girls alumnae shirt But I will love this company you had an interview with. Don’t take NO $hit from those recruiters!!!! How dare they threaten anyone! Give me their info in DM. You very well may have dodged a bullet. If your message to them was unclear or you otherwise gave them reason to doubt you, and you’re still interested in them, you can send over a (redacted?) copy of your ER paperwork to explain things and hopefully get another chance. But if this is their default attitude towards people WHO AREN’T EVEN POT-COMMITTED (like, already employed and dependant on them for money), then you’re better off being up an ER visit and down this job. What kind of sick? That’s so wrong to want you to go in while ill. Even though people make excuses, lie etc…people still get sick! Jerks, better off somewhere else

If the Saint. raymond academy for girls alumnae shirt But I will love this recruiter you were talking to is an in-house recruiter in the company’s talent acquisition team then you dodged a MASSIVE bullet. If the recruiter is from an agency, never work with that recruiter again. Recruiters are by extension a representation of you to the clients they work with and this person sounds extremely unprofessional (I was an agency recruiter and still do it for my own business so I don’t shit on agency recruiters for the sake of shitting on them). If this was the latter and you are genuinely interested in the company and the role, you could reach out directly to the company. If you don’t have their email you could reach out to the person you were going to interview with on LI and message them there. Just know that if you get hired though, that agency and that recruiter will still get paid the fee even if you ended up going directly, so the shitty recruiter still benefits. If that matters at all to you haha You didn’t f up. The company definitely did by showing their true colors over the inconvenience of having to reschedule a meeting though.
