Hey, just putting this out there, a mid 40s CEO recruited me to a startup when I was 18 and within 2 years I was working 120 hour weeks, sleeping at the Run Like A Turkey On Thanksgiving Turkey Trot T-Shirt besides I will buy this office, swlf injuring, and cutting off friends and family. I think the first thing that should be recognized here is that you have an extremely good head on your shoulders. Good for you for questioning this man’s motives. His behavior as you described is very suspect. I would start creating some distance if you can. It might not work to go to human resources because he is the CEO. He might be grooming you for an advance sexually and/or to work for him and he’s trying to connect with you. The daily 30 min meetings and a weekly 2-3 hour meeting is absolute overkill for a CEO and intern.

Run Like A Turkey On Thanksgiving Turkey Trot T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I think you are very sharp to have your antennas up about his possible negative intentions. Right now, it’s not totally clear to me (based on info you gave) that he’s grooming you personally in a romantic manner but you’re doing the Run Like A Turkey On Thanksgiving Turkey Trot T-Shirt besides I will buy this right thing by noticing the possibility. Please please, during one of these many many meetings you have with him, tell him about how uncomfortable comments about bf made you and set boundaries for your professional relationship. His reaction to that will be very telling. There is no good to come from not setting boundaries. You don’t need to accuse him of purposely making you feel that way or accuse him of anything in order to communicate your boundaries. If he will react negatively, it’s better to flush out his intentions now than later when he’s asking to come visit you at your college dorm. Why wait to see his reaction when OP can quit and cut ties now. This guy is clearly manipulating her by pushing boundaries and trying to alienate the other key people in her life (her mom) from her, relinquishing her trust in those people so that he can gain control of her decision making and future. All to most likely pursue a sexual relationship with a minor.
