They have all the data on what sells good, they very obviously copy products, make them worst and then sell for a much cheaper price. That in and of itself is super monopolistic behavior, and now we know why its so much cheaper. That’s kind of the same thing. Amazon typically finds one of the better performing no name suppliers of a product, buys them out, then puts their name on it. In reality though, many of those products themselves are white label products. If anyone is curious why Amazon basics products look remarkably similar to five other options, it’s because they’re all made in the same factory. Many of which used forced or inhumane labor practices. This isn’t really exclusive to foreign made goods though. Many fashionable brands that are “made in the US” are made under forced labor by immigrants in LA’s garment district

One of them requires a significant time investment in research to maybe make a meaningful determination. Not shocked myself. Amazon tracks everything sold on their site. In return they make cheap knockoffs of popular items and tell them as “Amazon Basics”. Amazon is also known for labor abuses even here in the states. Anyone to think they wouldn’t use the cheapest or possible free labor is very short sighted.
