As long as me and my family and friends are having a good time, you can wear a cookie monster suit in the Restoring Hope Support Small Business Shop Local Hope British Columbia Fundraising T-Shirt but in fact I love this pool and I wouldn’t even bother. I feel as though anyone who judges the shirt would judge you without the shirt. The point is, they are the problem, not you. They’re just assholes. My first thought is always that the person is insecure about his body, and that it draws more attention than not wearing a shirt at all, thereby defeating the whole purpose in the first place. Do I judge the person, however? Certainly not in a negative way; I don’t in any way think lesser of the person. We all have insecurities, and in fact I had the exact same insecurity throughout my entire adolescence. When I was 14, 15, 16, there wasn’t any amount of money in the world that would get me to remove my shirt in a public place. I was completely humiliated and insecure about my skinny frame, and honestly I was skin and bones. I weighed a ridiculous 110-120 lbs. at 6’1″, and you could literally see my entire ribcage with only a thin layer of skin covering the whole sad frame. Today I weigh 165 lbs., and that’s extremely skinny for me, to the point people of late have been worried about me; my normal weight is about 180 lbs, and have at times ranged up to 230 lbs. in my adulthood. Judge a person?? We all make judgements, all the time. It’s natural, and how we survive and gauge danger. If a person approaches you covered head to toe in tattoos, with a big swastika on his forehead, and bearing menacing silver teeth you’re likely gonna be apprehensive. If they’re wearing Dockers, boat shoes, and a Polo shirt likewise you will have a different judgement of the person. We all have to make immediate judgments. The question is only “do you judge a person negatively?” And for that the answer is no.

Honestly, I think it’s weird if others overly pay attention to others who are just minding their own business, so the Restoring Hope Support Small Business Shop Local Hope British Columbia Fundraising T-Shirt but in fact I love this problem wouldn’t be you, it would be weirdos who dont know how to mind their own business. Asian here. Very incredibly common for both males and females to wear upper body coverings in the pool. Generally, people wear rash guards (yeah dont know why cuz no ones surfing) but reason being is to prevent sunburn and maybe also bc its trendy? Lol A shirt over my swimsuit is literally a gift from the gods. I no longer need to worry about bursting into flames in the sun. I am of Irish descent, and if it even clocks on my radar at all that someone has more layers than “normal” at the beach/lake/springs/pool/river I just imagine they either burn easy, don’t want skin cancer or both.
