the Premium goose The Louisville Palace Theatre Louisville KY June 22 & 23 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this depression is causing me brain fog which is stopping me from meditating again. What exactly happens when you meditate? How does the brain fog stop you? How are you meditating? Are you trying to focus on something specific, like your breath, at the exclusion of everything else, and failing, and interpreting that as a failure to meditate? Try this. Just sit still, accept what is, without trying to change anything. Sensations in your body, your breath moving in and out, pressure, temperature, sounds … If you get distracted, notice that. It’s just something that’s happening in you right now. Thoughts arise, they may or may not get your attention for a bit, then you notice that, then you return to noticing what else is arising. Again and again. Accepting everything, not trying to change anything, and certainly not doing anything. You’re not focusing on anything on particular. I am halfway back to normal now it seems i was attached to it because I never felt so calm in my life also brain fog makes me scared due to my brain supressing thoughts. Yes and I’ll try it next time that happens thanks a lot.

-Trying to accept that it’s “ok” not to feel good. In fact, facing and accepting these feelings are a way of telling your brain that everything is ok. (not easy but for me it’s a necessary attitude). I say to myself “Today I will try to feel comfortable with feeling uncomfortable”. -Trusting in the Premium goose The Louisville Palace Theatre Louisville KY June 22 & 23 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this healing power of the brain and body. Sounds like you’ve already done so much – and I think you can trust in the future there is more wisdom and healing in store for you. And in some ways, pain propels us to make positive changes. At least for me that’s true, and I can be at least a little grateful for it (even though it sucks). -I’ve found guided “tapping” videos useful for anxiety, you can find them on youtube. It’s like a form of meditation but with a little more “activity” which I think help somehow. What do you mean you “lost your mindfulness”? You’re aware of the anxious feelings, so that’s a good start. Mindfulness doesn’t always have to be blissful and pleasant. Instead of formal sitting meditation try going for a walk and just being aware of sensations in the body, thoughts, etc. Are they pleasant or unpleasant? Intense or subtle? Are they permanent or impermanent? Notice the texture/tone of the sensations. If you can do those things, you’re being mindful and haven’t lost anything.
