That said there are brands who really deliver on quality construction like Mara Hoffman. Everything I own from her looks almost brand new with proper care, and is super super well constructed (my tailor was shook by how sturdy a blazer was that I took in!) – but they have a price point to match. I think the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and brands you mentioned are good quality. Some items from Fashion Nova and Shein really will fall apart after a few washes not to mention the environmental and societal impact those brands have. I saw this guy take apart the stitching on designer bags and a lot of them were made no differently than any quality leather bag. Anyway, when ppl say buy good quality, I think you’re doing just fine with a $100 J Crew cashmere
Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt, hoodie, hoodie and long sleeve tee
I would say when you see a post that puts down in some way a commonly liked or appreciated “thing” it’s really just an attempt at a “humble brag.” Im talking about the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and “I’m so much [better, smarter, richer, more informed etc.] than you so im going to explain to you why the thing you and lots of other people like is bad” posts not the actual reviews or personal experiences. If you find stuff at these stores you like and last for you, ignore when people are being pretentious on social media. It’s more about their insecurities than actual quality of things. Edit to add none of my items from these stores feel cheap nor have they fallen apart. Myy only clothes that have really fallen apart (developed large holes in knees and in some seams out of nowhere, and when my kid thought they were funny and pulled on them, the fabric ripped) were from cheap supermarkets that really only do food well, not clothing.
My worst H&M shirt had lace starting to detach in a couple of spots, but I sewed it back on. I think that’s my only actual fashion retailer piece that had a problem. I only buy “fast fashion” (for many reasons, budget, constantly changing sizes, etc.) and I honestly can’t recall something ever “falling apart” on me. One of my favorites sweaters is 8 years old, from Walmart! I’m just mindful of how I wash it. I don’t see the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and point of spending hundreds on a piece of clothing. I mean cool for people that can and do, but I’d be so nervous wearing such expensive clothes. I just know my cats or kids would destroy them. I finally stopped buying sweaters from J. Crew and Madewell this past year due to pilling poor quality. The three cashmere sweaters I bought last year all developed small holes despite careful care and hand washing. Even the more expensive ones I’ve purchased from Eileen Fisher and Theory haven’t held up well apart from a wool 3/4 sleeve that’s going on 10yrs old and still looks great. Some of my best wool/cashmere items are thrift store finds that were made in the 80s/90s and probably belonged to someone’s grandmother. I have f21 stuff that is in great condition a lot of wears after thrifting it. That said I also wash it on cold / cool water, in a more gentle cycle, and hang dry. Some things though just pill easily because of the fabric. This is ime more common in knits. Polyester etc. knits will pill really easily compared to cotton, for example.

Some information about Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt
My clothing of all quality levels have become damaged. r/visiblemending and r/invisiblemending can help you learn some basic repairs. They do, or they dont last as long. If you dont have the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and budget to be buying items that have high end materials and high end tailoring, then the next best thing is to learn how garments are constructed and what materials you like. For example I always look inside at the seams. Sure I would love some french or mock french seams, at a thrift shop, but most of the time I wont. So instead I look for serged edges that are some what neat, and the back stitching is even, neat and have a decent seam allowance. On top of that if you pick natural materials and dont wash them after every single wear or wash on a gentle cycle and line dry them, they last much longer. I have Forever 21 clothing I purchased in 2002 that is holding up just fine. My daughter is now wearing them!!!
I have a physical job that involves lots of climbing ladders, kneeling, lifting heavy things, cutting wood, getting messy etc and my clothes from 6 years ago are still in good condition. My lululemon leggings I wear 1-2 times a week still look pristine. Wash in cold, hang to dry. That’s the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and only secret. Heat breaks down the plastic that’s in every piece of clothing now. I find with all clothes, the care you give your garments directly correlate with how long something lasts. I wash most things in cold water and hang a lot of items, especially under undergarments, which I also put in a mesh bag. Sweaters that can be laundered I wash on gentle and dry on the drying rack. Denim is worn 3-5 times and I always wash inside out and hang to dry. A quick spin on low in the dryer gets rid of the air dried jean stiffness and also freshens up between wears! As far as brands, most of my jeans are from Madewell and i think they’re the best for me and go on sale so are a good price point (I wear jeans to work, so I have a lot of denim). I also shop JCrew and find it to be hit or miss, but have several sweaters I’ve had for a few years that are going strong. Jcrew Factory has gotten cheaper and cheaper and as a result, I buy less from them as they items don’t hold up long term. Some of the best basic items I own like socks, I’ve purchased from Amazon and Target.
Honestly, high price and brands don’t guarantee good quality. Budget fast fashion brands also can be great quality. I have a viscose H&M turtleneck that has lasted a decade, which I wear and machine wash 1-2x a week! Some expensive shit I bought hadn’t even lasted 2 years with CAREFUL washing. I had a pair of pants from Elizabeth Suzann get worn out SO fast. I think a lot of fashion communities see synthetic fibers as an instant no — but they can really help add some longevity and/or affordability to a piece of clothing. I also think it’s easy to fall for branding or not wanting clothes made in X country. Sezane imo is a good example of good branding, but the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and quality is often just ok. My opinion on the J Crew Cashmere – I have four of their cashmere sweaters I have had for more than five years that are in fantastic condition even having been worn a lot. OTOH I bought one of the featherweight cashmere sweaters 2 years ago and I donated it – if you looked at it funny it pilled horribly. I knit so a few pills don’t bother me much, but this was pilling at a rate that I knew would destroy the sweater pretty quickly. All that said if you can find an older featherweight secondhand that looks smooth rather than fuzzy go for it. I regret getting rid of the one I used to have even though it was a color I never wore.
my experience with sezane has been positive so far, but i do treat them very delicately since they cost so much. if i wore them like i wore most of my clothing, i don’t know how they’d hold up over time. j crew i’ve primarily thrifted and they’ve held up pretty well. anthropology as well. my favorite jeans right now are a thrifted pair of anthropology jeans. overall my favorite for quality is everlane. i buy primarily when they’re discounted, and i don’t think i’ve ever had a bad experience with their clothing. i did have a t-shirt from them that ended up getting little holes in it, but i was pretty reckless with it and got years of wear from it regardless. Yes. And for the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and love of all things holy, AVOID FAKE LEATHER. Not only is it shoddy and will only last about a year or two tops, it’s extremely toxic to all living things, including people. I’m a wildlife biologist and I did my thesis on the stuff. I’d set out to find whether PVC and PU were indeed better for humans and the environment than real leather, and boy was I shocked by the findings.
At every level, from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing to ordinary wear, fake leather is absolutely atrocious. It off gases fumes that the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and EU and EPA describe as “no save level of exposure”. Yet they still allow clothiers to practically drape us in the stuff. Patent leather is EVERYWHERE in fast fashion. I think it’s far better to invest in a few really high quality pieces that will last for years and years, that can be coordinated into multiple outfits each. I bought a beautiful leather trenchcoat that goes with everything I own, and I thrifted several Moschino, Coach, and Gucci shoes that are extremely well made and I’ve had since 2010. Each brand can really vary. Rather than focusing on the brand name I try to look at each piece because things like fiber content and construction are factors that can determine the quality and longevity. I tend to avoid most synthetic knits because a lot of those fibers (especially acrylic) will pill quicker. Fabrics like woven viscose and rayon are common because they give a similar hand to cotton but have a bit more drape, but personally I find them a little harder to care for vs a woven cotton fabric. Free People is expensive but most of their fabrics are TERRIBLE. Lots of cheap, thin, synthetic blends. But they do have some pieces that are 100% cotton that I might buy now and then. I just bought a pair of Old Navy jeans that are 100% cotton for $13 and I love them and plan to keep them for a long time. I’m predicting they might hold up decently because in other pieces, elasticity in stretch fabrics breaks down over time especially if you’re throwing these pieces in the dryer. It’s not always practical to get jeans with no stretch like the ones I found, but that’s just a personal preference I have as a shopper thinking about the long term.
I love Sezane’s leather goods (and their packaging is beyond lovely), but I am also disappointed in the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and clothing quality. A lot of it tends to be stiff and boxy too. Not all the time. I have some pieces from target since 2016. They still are in great shape. Btw, I never use dryer for drying the clothes. Drying in Sun keeps my clothes in shape, they don’t pile and looks new as day 1 It really is all about the care!! I have a black blazer from H&M that I’ve had since 10th grade… I cuff the sleeves now but it’s still in great condition. I’m tall so I am religious about cold water and hanging my clothes to dry….. I’ll be turning 30 next week so over a decade of wear on that piece It really depends on the specific item. I have $20 Jcrew shirts that are still going strong after ten years. Meanwhile, their sweaters are garbage after one season.
While I do think to some extent you “get what you pay for” (eg an investment piece is an investment and will have extra perks), you can still get a LOT out of the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt and by the same token and “mall brands”. Heck, I have stuff from Old Navy that’s lasting years and that I adore. The brands you mention are even nicer. I thrift most of my clothes so can speak for the fact that lots of things last, especially if you care for them. There are some brands I avoid (think very fast fashion), and you definitely see some things with too-thin fabric or seams that are falling apart, but there is still a lot of great stuff out there. The brands you’re mentioning are still pretty solid, and make pretty nice stuff! And cashmere is never a bad idea.
I can get things to last a good while. I have a laundry rule that if I rely on the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt Furthermore, I will do this elastic of an item, I hang dry it. Leggings, sports bras, undies, all of these I hang dry. I think with good care, you can get items to last you a long time. I make a lot of my own stuff, and before I learned to hang dry most of it, the fabric would be faded after two years, and I would be replacing the elastic after 1 year. So I can imagine what it does to clothing that has the elastic woven into it. I have had a Shein shirt for 2 years that looks great after regular wearing. I honestly think it depends on the exact product, how you care for it, and luck. Of those four I only shop from Madewell and J Crew my thing is they’re only worth it when they’re on sale. J crew every other day sends me a promo “SURPRISE! 60% off” …at this point there’s no surprise. But with those sales, the products are actually what they’re worth. Otherwise they’re ridiculously overpriced.
I agree, however, with the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt Furthermore, I will do this consensus of this post and its answers. Quality varies greatly between products of the same brand. You could get high-quality ZARA, but you’ll have to choose carefully by observation, by touching the product, reading the composition label… And on the other hand, get meager, deceptive clothes (i.e., polyester for 4-digit clothing!) from luxury brands… That kind of skill is very useful: you can shop anywhere; your taste, your budget and your values will be the criteria; and get beautiful, high-quality clothes for dirt cheap (I am thinking thrift shops here). Madewell is complete rubbish. So is Pink Rose and American Eagle. Antho clothes hold up better but there are lots of different brands there so anthro is not really a brand. It’s more of a store. Gap and BR hold up even better and not that expensive. If something is 100% cashmere, expect to pay a lot in dry cleaning to keep it looking nice.
If a video pops up on my youtube page, I always open in a new tab. If the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt Furthermore, I will do this voice is AI generated, I close the tab and select “Don’t recommend channel”. For all I know, the creator plagiarized a page from the web without even having to write it. What do you do if the video has no voice? only subtitles. Would you watch it? Just subtitles and soft piano music. I recently ditched AI voiceovers and only use subtitles. It’s too early to say if it has been a success. hmmm. I probably wouldn’t continue watching it (ie randomly popped up on my youtube page) but might if it’s something I searched for. I typically doing two things at the PC so listen mostly to youtube. I came across your latest video. If you make a scary theme, your voice won’t show the scary level of the story. Maybe that’s what happened when I watched your video.
Trying to do my first voicover today and I caught myself using exactly this “let’s be careful not to wake anyone” voice Someone said I have a ” flebile and mousy voice”. I was up till late at night recording my voice over lol. Some people just comment on whatever they want, you can’t control it. Just keep doing what feels good to you. It’s not that your voice is bad, you just need to train it a bit before recording. Try to practice speaking very clearly and it should help. If you have a script, don’t just jump into recording it, practice reading it until you can say it fluidly and clearly. Some people might dislike your voice, but EVERYONE dislikes AI voices. Work on your pronounciation and tone and dont give up! Need to actually see the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt Furthermore, I will do this video to confirm, but could it be that your audio quality needs improvement and not your voice? Firstly move further back from the mic, it sounds as though your trying to record in secret by pressing your mouth to the mic and speaking in a lower tone. Easy fix here, put your hand flat and distance your mic at least once hands width from your mouth. Keep this distance consistent each time.
Your voice sounds pretty unique. I know you’re not happy with the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt Furthermore, I will do this way it sounds, you’ve said that, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t suit the material. Work with it, it’s what you’ve got. It’s not in any way unpleasant to listen to. I agree with u/Ts0ri – you’re way too much on the mike, so you’ve got a very bassy “proximity effect” and a lot of plosives. Sit back. Get a popshield. You can make a popshield by bending a wire coathanger into a loop about maybe 20cm across, and stretching the leg of a pair of tights over it. You can buy a new pair, or just wash out a pair that are ripped somewhere and chop the good leg off. There are youtube videos about this. Get things set up so you’re at a consistent distance from the mike. If you find you’re now picking up too much “room tone”, hang some soft blankets up somewhere to deaden it down. Guess what? There are youtube videos about this, too. The biggie is practicing reading it. Your dynamics are a bit off, it’s all a bit mechanical. You have editing software – you can go back and take out the pauses and retakes.
Let me walk you through a bit, starting about a minute in, that I’d like you to try and redo. Just a little bit! Less than a minute. Try what folk have suggested here, and see if it makes a difference. “I can’t explain the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt Furthermore, I will do this peace of mind I had knowing I didn’t have to brace myself for any of his stuidity. For a while. “(audible swallow) I was always afraid his stunts wihd wind up bleeding over into my life” The rest is pretty much more of the same, a bit stumbly. Practice reading the piece aloud until you find your inflexions, imagine telling the story to a friend rather than reading it off the page.
I know that video. Your voice is not bad but it seems that you don’t know how to use your voice. You can try to enroll in a voice-acting course to improve the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt Furthermore, I will do this control on your voice. Based on some of your post history, I’m going to say this is probably a bit tougher of a subject than it’d be for a lot of youtubers. It kind of sounded like your voice was tight/forced during the narration, rather than relaxed and smoothly talking. Could be nerves or something else, or that could be how you sound even when casually talking to friends. If it really is nerves and such, you could get over that with practice. Record yourself a bunch, even when not doing a video. Do multiple takes, and break up stories into sections you can redo if you need. The professionals do, so don’t worry about having to do this extra work. Some of your sentences had awkward pauses, like you were figuring out how to say the next words. Sometimes there were lip smacking sounds and such that could probably be edited out too. Things like that can draw people out of the story and start paying attention to how things are being said, rather than what’s being said. And lastly, with all sensitivity, if your voice isn’t going to get much deeper over time, then it might be a mismatch for the genre, but could do better with other genres or types of content. Mmm-hm. I think it’s a tough job for OP. There’s a comparison I really want to make but it sounds insensitive, so I won’t. I think OP’s voice sounds really suitable for the material, they’d get a job in any David Lynch movie. Your voice isn’t the problem, the audio quality is terrible. You need better mic or learn some post-production to improve the audio.
So, to summarize. It’s your time to learn. Don’t be sad because someone criticised you, you’ll aleays be criticised. Do your job, keep getting better and finally, you’ll reach that place. I like the Opening Day San Francisco Giants 2001 shirt Furthermore, I will do this voice, it’s unique and makes me want to listen. You would benefit greatly from an upgraded mic and practice, keep going! You’ll get better with practice. Get a good mike, and read up on treating your room so you don’t sound all echoey. I don’t think you would. In theory, people say this for support but in reality it doesn’t work like that. You say this out of principle but having watched the video, OP is right in worrying about this. I suggest people should not make this about AI vs people. It’s not relevant when it’s a video production issue. You should just look at it as content and evaluate accordingly.
