Our company is technically off tomorrow and Monday but we’ve got such a backlog of tickets i’ll probably spend a couple of hours getting some of them completed to ease the Never take camping advice only end drunk flamingo shirt it is in the first place but strain next week when i’m off. I’ll probably get more done in two hours tomorrow than what I would in a normal day – nobody to interrupt and bother me! Feels like Friday. Had v unhealthy dinner, watched shit telly, then had to pop back to my partner’s office so he could send a crucial email as his laptop wasn’t connecting at home. Home, booze, more crap telly. I’m feeling very rotten so to be honest I’m looking forward to getting into bed and not being woken up by an alarm in the morning! Had a bit of a stress wobble with stuff that’s in the news atm. Thankfully I was out with my partner at the time so we went for dinner, I had a nice gin cocktail thing and I’m feeling calmer now. I’ve had a crap week for a few reasons, rescued by my lovely colleagues who have looked after me, so weirdly I’m actually going to miss being at work a bit! Am at home drinking beer and eating bread sticks watching a celeb GBBO on catchup, because watching celebs be actually normal always makes me feel better. 1Title pretty much explains it but I need details on it lol. I’ve applied to like 30 places over the past 12 months and I’ve been called for a few interviews and I’ve been rejected from them all. It is frustrating to be honest but I don’t know where I’m going wrong to the point where I’ve literally been rejected from all the places I’ve applied to. What experience do you have? Maybe try applying for jobs you’ve got a bit of experience for. Have you done any sales, or waiting tables, kitchen work etc?

Also, an issue might be your CV. I would recommend having a talk with your college careers advisor and ask for CV guidance. It’s difficult to say without knowing where you’re applying, what your applications look like, etc, but 30 jobs in 12 months isn’t really a lot. Are you in a city or somewhere where jobs are hard to come by? I would also recommend you keep checking Indeed every day and follow up on applications a few days or a week later. There’s not really much jobs to offer in my area – as in there’s not many offers on the Never take camping advice only end drunk flamingo shirt it is in the first place but website on a usual occasion. I go on indeed everyday and I let them email me when there are retail job offers too. I’ve filled in my work experience section of my CV and they include spending some time volunteering at a charity shop, cafe and peer mentoring – I still don’t get what I’m doing wrong when they say lack of experience. I assume you’re 16-18? Maybe try a local pub, or fast food place, they’re generally easier to get jobs in at that age than retail from what I’ve noticed. It might be worth if you live in a small town/rural area to go round and drop your CV off at places round town. If they are small local businesses they may not advertise on Indeed. Yeah I am 16-18 and I do live in a rural area but it’s slowly becoming more urban ykwim? And most places I’ve checked in with say that they can’t accept physical copies of CVs to apply online unless they say that they accept CVs. (None of them in my area do.)
