Late nights at Bangalore airport used to be super crowded before all international ops moved to T2 just 4 months ago. The late night peak owing to Gulf and EU flights. Yes, this is a rule. I used to regularly take a 5:30 AM flight out of Chennai. I’d always reach around midnight and was never denied entry. Once during a cyclone I reached 15 hours prior to departure and was denied entry, understandably so.
