Catwoman (not Zoe) as gay bait. Hers and Annika’s introduction felt completely romantic and I don’t think in the Minnie mouse disney let’s party birthday gift shirt moreover I love this history of women have two friends ever spoken like that, touched like that, or lived like that – and then she kisses the male protagonist. It didn’t add anything to story either, so it could have easily been written clearly platonic and it felt intentional and I strongly disliked that. -I think the fight choreography was intentionally not too flashy. This is still a young Batman, not yet in his prime. -I thought Kravitz did a great job, but to each their own. -TDKR did the same thing. I think the character has always been a bit bisexual, but the female lover side of that wasn’t explored much in that film either, and before you know it, Selina’s kissing Batman.

Fair cop on the Minnie mouse disney let’s party birthday gift shirt moreover I love this last two, and being bisexual there’s nothing about that which bothers me (in fact I’d love to see it), just…handled thoughtfully. Re the first one, it’s not the flashiness or lack thereof I minded, it was the jump cuts to avoid showing a fully coordinated scene — even if that scene is Batman making a few mistakes because of his youth and inexperience. In fact I’d have loved that. Instead there were several times I just didn’t know how Batman or someone else got from one location to another because the choreography didn’t account for the logistics of their relative position or what had to happen between A and B. And I think it happened because this was a more character-forward take on the story than action-forward, which I appreciated, I just think in any superhero film it needs to be at least part of the equation and it got slacked on a little. I hope that makes more sense.
