Today a man screamed at me because I didn’t say “you’re welcome” when he thanked me for helping him lmfao, I just immediately went and started helping the Miles Davis 79th Anniversary 1944 – 2023 Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt so you should to go to store and get this next person in line and he didn’t like that Recently helped a lady during a dinner rush (in the deli), we’re short staffed and I’m trying to get the rotisserie chickens out, lady comes up wanting some corn, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. I’m rushing, trying to get through this customer and back to the other 25 things I need to do. I ask her is she wants those small or large sized. She says small. I go get 3 small containers and start to scoop stuff. “Excuse me, what do those containers look like?” I show her. “Yeah we’re gonna need larges.” I throw away the used containers and turn around to quickly get 3 larges instead, the rotisserie is beeping again because the timer I set earlier to remind me to get them out is going off. I come back and open the case door and go to scoop stuff again. She goes “Nevermind. I wanna speak to a manager. Now.” I look up and she’s giving me the meanest look, I go “we actually don’t have one tonight, our manager left at 1”, she scoffs and says “I don’t believe that, get me a manager.” Irritated because I’m not lying I say “We really don’t have a manager tonight, I don’t know what else to tell you. What’s the issue?” She then tells me that she didn’t like the way I’m rushing around and throwing things, that it’s rude. I tell her that I’m literally just doing my job and that we’re short staffed and I have a lot to do, I’m more worried about getting tasks done rather than being as quiet as possible. Her family has walked far away by this point like they’re embarrassed of her, and she asks me my name and threatens to go find a manager and get me fired.

Had a guy come up to the Miles Davis 79th Anniversary 1944 – 2023 Thank You For The Memories Signature Shirt so you should to go to store and get this service desk, needed money services that I cannot provide. I told him that the person who can provide them would be back from her lunch in a matter of minutes. Understandably frustrating, but he shouted and then went to the GM self-check to tell the cashier to page for a manager because “the guy at the service desk is too young to do money services” (I’m 32 and have no idea why he thinks it’s a matter of age) So the self-check comes up to the service desk and asks me to page for a manager. I ask if customer description and she confirms it so I told her to go can to self-check and then didn’t page for anybody. And then the woman trained for money services came back but dumbfuck played himself back to the end of the line. Because I said I was sorry something was out of stock. Old man started HOLLERING “you’re not sorry! You people want us to have to buy the more expensive cookies!”
