Keep your head high. There is honor in not lowering yourself to their level and leaving rather than playing their games. But if there are kind people that will attend, give them a chance to wish you well. If the mean people don’t show up, everyone will feel the positive vibes and be able to clearly see the difference in vibes when the others are present. You can make up excuses like you’re really busy after work and need to work through lunch or some BS like that.

My boss asked to take me and team to lunch for my last day.
