“This job is quite important to me, but I have to be clear, boss – it is not the Marvin Gaye Light Prince Of Soul Singer T-Shirt in contrast I will get this #1 priority in my life. I’m disappointed that I’m now in the position of being expected to sacrifice the bit of LIFE in my life in order to continue to work here. I‘ve earned this vacation time and provided a ridiculously long notice about it. It was sorted far in advance, there’s been plenty of time to make sure I’m covered if an emergency arises, and you know what? At this point it’s also a matter of principle. I’ve given this company a lot, but I’m not giving it everything. It’s a pretty easy choice for one that’s so hard – I will not be here. What happens as a result of that is up to you.” If there’s a huge project due the day before you leave, then it sounds like there’s no problem. You’ll be done with the project before you go.

Marvin Gaye Light Prince Of Soul Singer T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Bullshit – unless you have some type of contract (ie: Military) – a vacation request that far in advance is not deniable. Sometimes it makes sense not to ask too early, because then people kinda forget until the Marvin Gaye Light Prince Of Soul Singer T-Shirt in contrast I will get this date somehow becomes a problem. If you do in the future, I definitely recommend sending a reminder or two. Maybe one a month in advance and another one or two weeks out. Kinda stupid but people get disorganized with this stuff all the time. You’ve heard the answers enough already, but I’ll add to the chorus that you asked, for approval, notified everyone, you’re done. Take your trip and don’t feel compelled to look out for the boss and company. If you save the day, he’ll look good. If you don’t, he’ll look bad and that’s his own fault. Tell your boss “I’m not asking for time off, I’m telling you when I will be out of town and I’ve reminded you regularly for a long time.”
