LOL. Oh man, bad move mate. I mean, I get it. We all look for friendship and acceptance, but don’t shit where you sleep bud. i would be concerned at any business that feels its appropriate to change terms of an agreement after its been decided… take the Luis Robert a Cuban Baseball For The Chicago W Stripes MLB T-Shirt and I love this time with s.o.. they will be there for you when you are old and frail, this company on the other hand will toss you to the curb and find someone younger and more agile. i get it, a bit, they are a little panicked bc their good worker is leaving they likely wanna add as much to your table to clear up before you go… but the work ethics of others is not your problem, i would suggest not being their solution either. Your boss is not your friend if they are threatening to cancel your vacation. They are not your friend if you think they will fire you for going on your previously approved vacation. Remember any company in an at will state can fire you for any reason. For this reason and many others don’t let any company tell you what you can do with your life. When you want vacation take vacation. You’ve been more than accommodating but this shows you’re just a number to them. This is why every time I fill out a time off request sheet I make a copy of it with the bosses signature. My old boss hated that I did it but I’m not gonna let some jackass who sucked at managing try and screw me last minute because they forgot I had put in a request. I’ve had managers do this to me in the past and I found out multiple times that it turned out they scheduled something around my vacation because they forgot I’d put in for PTO. “(I’m not quitting my job though, I have worked really hard and like I said, enjoy my job a lot and have 0 intention of leaving on bad terms with anyone)” What do you want from us then?

Luis Robert a Cuban Baseball For The Chicago W Stripes MLB T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I’ve just never understood how management how developed the Luis Robert a Cuban Baseball For The Chicago W Stripes MLB T-Shirt and I love this impression that they own your entire life? If you have some ownership stake in the business, sure, maybe I get it. But works is a means to an end. Poor planning on their part does not necessitate a change of plans on your end. Tell him the only reason you haven’t gone full Milton is this planned vacation. You aren’t asking, you’re going. Option 2 is to burn the building down. “I have had this vacation planned for almost a full year. You have been informed about this time for a 9 months now with many reminders. It is not my fault nor responsibility that a project was scheduled during a time management knew well in advance I will not be present. Failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine. You have a full month to figure out plans for my absence as at this point I am not asking, I am informing you that I will not be here.” Pretty much what I would say. My boss tried to pull the same crap when I put in for vacation 6 months in advance. A week before I was set to go on vacation he pulled me into his office and tried to pull the whole spiel about being a team player and needing me during a “busy time.” I basically gave him the short version of what I said above. My vacation was already approved and our system prevents management from canceling a prior approved time-off request. Only HR can cancel it at that point.
