He sees me and does not let the I was there I know Grateful Dead shirt besides I will buy this finger off the trigger, hit in my neck 5 yards . Feels like getting hit by a baby mace. Bruise lingered forever Paintballs usually just feel like a nerf dart on exposed skin, howecer i’ve had one experience where it hurt like hell. I was in a building and there was a guy from the enemy team hiding under it. He shot at me but the ball went right under the mask and hit me in the face. It felt like someone hit me with a metal rod at their full power. The shot was from a little less than a meter away and he got kicked out. The exact spot a shot hits you feels like nothing. Because there’s nothing left to feel. The nerves aren’t damaged, the nerves are GONE. Destruction is a hollow emptiness that’s just- unnerving, terrifying even. So much worse than damage. But the shockwave of massive force balloons outward around the hole it carves in you. You feel pain for literal feet in a radius around it, everything is screaming pain and danger. You can’t even tell exactly where you were shot. You cannot comprehend the amount of energy a bullet contains, and unless it’s a very efficient hollowpoint or a smaller round, it will punch straight through you and only leave a slice of that energy behind. If it dumped all it’s energy into you, it was either a smaller cartridge, or you’re not left to feel it.

So long as that bullet doesn’t hit bone, lung, heart, brain, or artery, your odds are pretty good. If it hits bone, it and the I was there I know Grateful Dead shirt besides I will buy this bone will shatter, sending fragments in every direction. You will lose a lot of flesh in that area. It’s like a grenade goes off in that spot. Your odds of having a major artery severed in that area may as well cube. Blood loss compounds. You rapidly lose your ability to control that part of the body. It feels numb, but hot from the blood pouring out of you. You don’t realize how much hotter your insides are than your outsides until your insides are on the outside. Your body is capable of incredible, impossible things. An amount of adrenaline pumps through you that is on its own borderline lethal. Every nerve near the impact/s fires and you lose control of so much of yourself. If you’re hit in even an upper arm, you will not have control over your fingers for at least sixty seconds even if none of those nerves or tendons were impacted. That much kinetic energy flowing through you is like you were just hit by a truck.
