I sell phones at a Verizon. The customer told me, “My phone doesn’t work. It’s screen is always black. When I plug it in, it lights up to tell me it’s got 100% battery, but when I unplug it, it goes black again.” “……Well it could’ve been that the I Like Bourbon And golf and maybe 3 people shirt Furthermore, I will do this battery died. It could’ve been that you or someone else powered it off. Or it could’ve been….. No, pretty much just those two things.” British here. Was having a discussion with one of my colleagues around the time of Brexit. He was very much for it and after talking about the ups and downs of it. I asked him what was his main reason for wanting out of Europe? By this point he was fairly frustrated as he was a bit of a right wing skin head type. And shouted his reply at me: “I just want my national identity back”. I literally could help but laugh at him. Which made him so much more angry. What a good day When I was pregnant, my sons “father” told me that it’s not his and a women can store semen inside her and choose when to get pregnant, therefore someone I slept with 6 years prior was the father

I once met a guy who thought ‘abroad’ was all the I Like Bourbon And golf and maybe 3 people shirt Furthermore, I will do this same place. Africa, France, Antartica, wherever … all ‘abroad! It genuinely astounds me how people like that survive in life. What must go on inside that head? A black guy told me that black people didn’t need to wear sunscreen because they cannot get melanoma. I told him that’s not how melanin works. He may have more protection from UV rays but can still get skin cancer or get sunburn. I have a black friend who constantly gets sunburned if she doesn’t wear sunscreen and she has dark skin. He still disagreed and said he hasn’t met anyone who has ever gotten skin cancer or sunburn so until he sees it he won’t believe it. Ok so this one I heard almost 20 years ago but I still cannot get over the stupidity of it. The brother of a friend of mine was driving us home from very close by, and intentionally took a massive detour, claiming that ‘that way you consume LESS fuel, given that the first few km’s are the ones that consume the most’. He was very proud of his ‘rationale’ I moved from the West coast to the Mississippi Delta for a few years, for work. I always dyed my hair, and this time in particular my hair was blue, and I so happened to be about 7mo pregnant. I had just finished up grocery shopping at the most happenin’ place in town (walmart), and the door greeter felt the need to stop me on my way out. Now, I was used to people stopping me and commenting on how my hair matched my dress and nails and whatever, so I let her stop me… but what came out if her mouth was “YOU KNOW YOUR BABYS GONNA COME OUT BLUE, RIGHT?!” I literally just laughed in her face and kept walking out.
