1,551 more replies”until they are comfortable” dont let them decide when your worth the I Am Was And Will Always Be A Welder & Very Proud To Say It Today Tomorrow & Forever Welder shirt and by the same token and payrise, set a fixed probationary period when they have to adjust your pay or remove the responsibilities Yup nothing without a guarantee. Had this happen to a coworker who got moved into management role as interim manger. Told him he would get the spot if he worked for a few months without the title or pay raise. He quit and moved on cuz they never made good on it and have never replaced that position. It’s a joke. Only a fool would take the promotion without an increase in pay. Do you think you have no worth? If you take the job, you have most assuredly told them that you are weak. I would tell them as respectfully as I could that I wouldn’t do it without the pay raise. The only reason I work is for the money, why would I do MORE work for the same money? Just doesn’t make any sense.

I Am Was And Will Always Be A Welder & Very Proud To Say It Today Tomorrow & Forever Welder shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

fuck that bro, they just wanna fill the I Am Was And Will Always Be A Welder & Very Proud To Say It Today Tomorrow & Forever Welder shirt and by the same token and position until they find someone to hire and say… oh, ur not needed anymore…. u can keep your old title and pay, but hey… thanks for training the new guy/gal. Nope, don’t take it without the pay raise and job title change on paper. There is always a part of risk, because as we say in my language “promises only engage those that believe in them”, meaning there are no guarantees. However if you want to test the water and see how serious they are, try to get some timelines in WRITING. This is more common than you think. Why? Because if 100days are good enough for US presidents to come up with a plan surely it’s good enough for you too. And if after 6mth they cannot make their mind up about you, then they are just toying with you. Why? Because if it ain’t there then it doesn’t exist. You must have a price tag in your head attached to doing all these extra duties. Is it even aligned with what they are willing to pay you eventually? You need to know beforehand, otherwise you might be left demotivated and angry when you find out.
