Explain calmly that you are not interested in additional responsibilities without compensation. I have a feeling they already know you can do the Hilltop lakes texas shirt and I love this job, but just want to milk it for the excuse to not pay you now. Either you truly succeed in the new role which they are justified to pay you, or you’re not which means they would use you until they find a replacement. Market everything you’ve done into an interview to go elsewhere. “I don’t feel comfortable commuting to taking on additional responsibilities without seeing my new responsibilities written out as a new offer for the position.” Hard pass. They are lubing you up to corporate fuck you. Tell them the only way you do your bosses job is with more money or walk if they are saying they want you in a trial position, then ask for a trial pay increase. Then get in writing how long before it becomes permanent.

Hilltop lakes texas shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

If they immediately want you to have the Hilltop lakes texas shirt and I love this job, they know you can do the job. If the old boss is gone and they were paying him more money, then they can pay you more money. This is the classic move that is to hire the employee we don’t have to train for less money than the last guy. Literally everything in writing, and that whole we can’t pay you yet untill you do the work is the most bonkers bullshit I’ve ever heard. Of you are familiar with the role, and you can say that you can succeed in it then there is absolutely 0 reason not to pay you for the work. “If you are asking me to take on extra responsibility and stress and are refusing to compensate me properly I will be declining untill this job is posted publicly, at which time I will apply for it normally!” Do not sell yourself short, it sounds like they need you farm more than you need them, “opportunity to grow in the role” is just a lot of letters to say ‘free work’
