If you’re sitting in a room alone, and you’re reading the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this internet, silently, the mechanism by which you comprehend the words you’re reading – that is an internal monologue. Everyone participating in this thread has one. If I’m by myself and realize that I’m hungry, and I have several options, as I think about those options and then decide on one, all without speaking a single word aloud, that has been my internal monologue. Unfortunately yes, but there are definitely people out there without one, I’m pretty sure it’s a condition but I’m not sure of the name! Mine are usually two of my voices having a screaming competition though so maybe in this case you got lucky lol! 883 more repliesThis also reminds me of the video where the doctor says “The normal amount of screaming you should hear in your head at anytime is zero.” And the response is “Say psyche. Say psyche right now.”

Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt: Perfect for Fans

yes. I’ve had an inner monologue since I can remember. Now that I’ve gotten older, it just makes its way to my mouth more frequently than it should. I do have an inner monologue and I do talk to myself pretty often when I’m alone. It helps me vocalize and organize my thoughts. Thoughts can get a little hazy in my head, so speaking them aloud helps me make sense of them better. I’m learning to not feel bad about it, but sometimes I slip up and say my thoughts aloud in public Full group chats! Just kidding. Yes but i also play like devils advocate and go into debate mode about everything. Drives me mad. I have to be careful in public because sometimes I’ll be too interested in the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this conversation or movie happening inside my head and words slip out into the real world. Life is often much more interesting inside than out. It goes farther than voices for me. I think in sounds, feel emotions and pain/pleasure, taste etc. Like I’m here, but also somewhere else.
Yes, but it’s most of the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this external if no ones looking at me, if I’m alone then I speak my monologue out loud, or mouth the words if no ones looking at me. It can be internal but it’s more clear if it’s external Yess I have monologue. Something like only 1/4-1/3 of people have it. I can’t imagine not having it. How do you guys think? I have too much I also do a thing called maladaptive daydreaming a lot . I make up different scenarios and stories in my head using people I know or characters from tv shows or movies. I’ll have sometimes two different internal monologue at once Always inner dialog. Sometimes, depending on what I’m doing the inner voice changes to a professional in the craft. Did I just think of something funny to say? Better test it out in the comedy club in my head with audience. Playing some disc golf. Inner voice becomes commentary on live television rating my game while talking to another commentator. I’m definitely my own worst critic but I’m never alone and can enjoy the silence together.

Step by step to buy Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt

No. I have thoughts obviously but they don’t come in sentences, it’s more like concepts / pictures than actual monologue If you don’t ever have a “monologue” or “dialogue” in your head, it means you are always present. I doubt that. If you are, more power to you. The world spends most of their time trying to achieve this. Like all the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this time! Mostly to think about any comebacks I could make at annoying customers and to think in advance of what I should eat tomorrow or how to make the most of my day before work Sometimes my internal monologue steals the voices from my friends or characters in games and movies and stuff I like and it’s really funny and enjoyable. I feel it helps me understand my own thoughts and ground myself too. Just being able to talk through things in my own head, completely silent whenever I want. Oh also, I’m pretty good at texting, since I say what I text in my head. Everything I type, I imagine myself saying so it all comes out very naturally, and I feel because of this, my text often sounds very friendly. Sort of piggybacking that idea too, it means I’ve had tons of practice with grammar, since I have the unshakeable need to properly portray how everything sounds when I talk through what I want to write in my head. I can never properly concentrate because I can’t think any other way. I mean I can imagine pictures too but there’s always my voice accompanying them, so if I’m listening to my teachers talk for example, I will more than often start to “talk” about what’s being said in my head because I’m thinking about what they’re saying. It sucks and I’m pretty sure there’s nothing I can do about it. Linking back to the last one on the pros, because I text in a way people talk, I usually ramble on and on. You’d typically use a different format of speech when you talk compared to when you text, since you can say stuff much quicker in person as opposed to texting, so all my texts are just complete and utter monsters of paragraphs.
I am very good at upsetting myself with fake scenarios. Whilst yes, thinking about things as clear as movies is fun sometimes, it gets tiring when all my thoughts are so vivid, and almost life-like. I’ve got a super clear imagination, and the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this fact I can just get absorbed talking in my head means I often get lost in thought about bad things when I’m already upset because it just feels so real. I mean I know it isn’t, and I usually realise and stop midway thinking and tell myself to shut up, but I just don’t make the link that I shouldn’t then actually be upset about what I just so clearly imagined. Sometimes I’ve actually assumed I went through the things I thought too, and it’s confused some people when I bring up things they didn’t say, but yeah. That’s quite annoying too.
I do, mostly, but not constantly. Sometimes, I realise my whole thought process has occurred without any inner monologue. I also have aphantasia. I don’t visualise things, I honestly can’t say that I understand what a mental image is like. But to be honest, I think it saves me time because most people I know seem to construct things, where I just ‘know’ how something will be. (I put ‘know’ in quotation marks because, like everybody else, I can be wrong. Please don’t tell my wife I said that.) What are your thoughts? Stared back at him, the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this comment box beckoning for words. He sat and wondered how to respond, or if he even should respond, and then, as if the heavens opened, he made a realization, that he could make an obvious yet funny joke, right here, right now.
My brain loves an excess of mental imagery. A friend once told me I had rubbed off enough on her that it made a trip to her dentist Hell. I was so shocked when i learned that people had internal voices and I was so amazed and felt like I was missing out. Now that I’m older, I’m happy I don’t have that voice because I can guarantee it would just tell me all the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this shitty things about me All the time. My internal voice is pretty loud and strangely enough speaks English all the time (my mother tongue is Dutch). All the time. I have my son with me, so he and I talk a lot. But my anxiety also creates inner conversations. Those are fun. You’re not dumb, you’re untuned. Like a guitar out of tune. An engine not in time….it’s not harmonious. It’s not listenable. It’s audible….but not listenable. It’s very subjective. I have inner monologues continuously. My partner almost none and if any are usually not pleasant. I have inner monologs, disagreements, fights, screaming matches and I think in pictures. Be very glad your inner voice is silent. He/she can be a real AH It’s hard to remain positive when that mf so loud, negative and constantly spewing so much hate at me! I think he might be starting to win the battle…
It’s a good thing I do. It vets my Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this conversations before I say them, makes sure I don’t do anything stupid. I can see what people are describing to me quite vividly to be honest, i don’t think you’re missing out. imagine constantly having to listen to yourself talk. you genuinely get tired of your own bullshit sometimes.. it definitely doesn’t make you dumb that you don’t have an internal monologue. every brain works differently, and yours functions without constantly having to ramble on about stuff to yourself. i don’t believe that’s a sign of any problem or deviation whatsoever. Do you think in visuals a lot? i have a friend who rarely ever has internal monologue but he constantly gets visuals from his brain in any shape or form, from weird trip visuals to graphs of data about his life & friends.
I have two voices, does anybody else have two voices? Theyre both “me” and they talk to each other. One is kind of impulsive and loud and dominates most of the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this time. The other is kind of a lawyer type thinker that chimes in when the first guy says something dumb. Usually something like “well if “we” do that then this will happen, just so “we” know”. He also takes over when I have to solve a difficult problem or have a decision to make. I do and my wife doesn’t. I’m also very visual in my thoughts and my wife is not. She has a hard time imagining changes. I literally had to photoshop a picture of our house to show her what dark grey/ black shingles would look like when we removed our crappy brown roof
Some game cube controllers have a factory defect in them that give them a competitive advantage in super smash bros melee. I can’t remember how but you can look up videos on it I just want one to play with for years to come hopefully! Couldn’t unsee it and I currently don’t have the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this spare money for another one while keeping this one. To be fair, it does fit the sub. Infuriating but just mildly so as to not ruin your day when you look back up at the screen and play. Returning something to the store is a mild inconvenience, I don’t see why that would mean this is more than mildly infuriating If I paid… what are these like 80 bucks now or something? Wait lemme check, I refuse to delete any of what I’ve typed though, I will leave it as a monument to my poor planning Anyway, if I paid 75 bucks for something I’d want it to be as close perfect as it could be. It would be a matter of principle at that point imo For real though, I get paid ok money but it really gets sucked up by everyday expenses, so 75 dollars is quite the investment for me. If I’m paying that amount of money for something as simple as a game pad, then it better be a damn good game pad. If an off center button passed QA, then it’s not unlikely something else did to. I need that 75 dollar investment to last as long as possible and a glaring issue as simple as a fucked up button does not build confidence in the quality of the rest of that unit. I also work in the electronics industry (very very different electronics admittedly, commercial AV processors are in no way similar to PS5s aside from running on the same electricity) but specifically in support. A visual defect is almost always just the tip of the iceberg.
“Pretty nuts” no people just want atleast basic quality for a 100 dollar controller. The only thing nuts is people thinking this is an unreasonable request. I mean, on PS5, i look at them constantly cause im used to the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this Xbox layout and can never remember which side is square and which is circle, for instance, lol. It’s funny because i know this, yet whenever i see circle or something flash up on the screen, i instinctively look down to make sure i hit the right thing, lol. I use both and the thing that messes with me the most is that they both have an X but they’re in different places lol Same for me. I’m generally okay between Xbox and PlayStation, but then if I throw the switch in that fucks me all up. I feel this. Like I know square on PS and X on Xbox are the same functionally but that trips me up and it makes me want to press X I got stuck drift on the one that came with it, plus one other one. I said enough was enough and bought a dual sense edge with replaceable stick modules so stick drift is never a problem again. Terrorized me on PS4 as well And you would have had one with a rare, unique misprint.. why would you need to purchase another? Did it not work?
Now I need to consciously not look at my controllers in case I have one like this. Once you see it you can’t unsee it. Since PS1 and all the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this controllers I’ve gone through (both name brand and off brand) I’ve never had a button decal be off centered. Even Xbox controllers. That’s probably because Xbox barely ever uses button decals. It’s just on the start and options buttons, but the main buttons are letters suspended in plastic, rather than printed lettering. It seems like the white controller also has letters suspended in plastic. Wonder why it’s only the black one that has stickers I would’ve kept it to make people unreasonably upset over it. It’s great fun when people are minorly frustrated over nothing. I bought it as my personal controller though – as I prefer the black controller over the default white one. I also expect the white one to degrade in looks more easily, so using the black one more than the white one also makes sense to me 🙂 I don’t know why you are being downvoted over this. It’s pretty well known that white items are harder to keep clean. The joysticks are gonna drift waaay before you gotta worry about the white collecting any scuffs. Which they don’t really anyways.
Speak for yourself. I don’t even look at the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this screen. I’m just taking my fingers off the buttons constantly to look and make sure I’m pressing the right button…I never can remember is triangle the one in the middle of the controller that you touch?? You just don’t have alot of experience playing games. you’ll pick it up the more you play. I haven’t needed to do that since I was a child My comment was supposed to be both true to inexperienced gamers and sarcastic of the stupid specific of his comment at the same time I’m someone who switches between an Xbox(bfs), ps4(mine), and a switch (mine) and I’m ALWAYS looking at the buttons unless it’s on the ps4 since those buttons are ingrained into my dna now
The majority of people don’t. But once you notice something like this you will constantly notice it. I would change it too just because it would drive me up the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this wall. I know it shouldn’t but it would. Always had Xbox, recently bought a PS5 pretty much solely for the PSVR2. I now spend so much time looking at the controller because they haven’t quite “clicked” for me yet. Constantly hit the wrong button when it tells me to hit X since I instinctively hit where the X button is on Xbox. And why the hell are there three “R”s? Now this is truly mildly because It wouldn’t bother me but it would be something I notice. Just kinda shrug it off and move on if it worked okay. Yeah if it worked perfectly there’s no point in returning it over something you won’t notice 99.999999999% of the time
Poor little guy’s going to end up in a landfill looking like that. I would’ve kept it just to save him from the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this dumpster! I could see why this would annoy you but in all seriousness who actually looks at their buttons when playing unless they’re new to the console? I never even saw this issue till this comment! Nothing wrong with the button! The graphic is offset on the button. How can your fingers even notice that? This is why we can’t have nice things. It’s also mildly infuriating that people are downvoting you for simply not wanting a defective product that you paid a lot of money for. If people want it so bad then they can pay you for it lol. What about a minor cosmetic defect that doesn’t impact the usage of your device at all compelled you to return it? I had a hot green pixel for a couple of years. I couldn’t stop looking at it. For perhaps something like 0.01% of total time I used that thing. The other 99.99% I didn’t mind. “oh look my brand new iPhone I bought from Apple, oh wait the volume button is scratched up and a different colour to the rest of the brand new phone?? oh whatever, it’s probably unique and at least it’s functional!” This is what a bunch of the comments sound like. If something isn’t up to par, functionally or cosmetically, OP has all the right to return it.
There’s no way to validate that this particular button came from the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this Sony factory in this controller in this fashion etc… Either way, it isn’t worth chucking the controller in a landfill just for a slight button misprint…Which is exactly what Sony would do if returned… Thing is: I want a controller to play with, not a collectors item. I don’t have the spare money to just buy another one to use at the moment while putting this one away… And I also don’t want to wait for x years for this to hopefully become expensive if it’s still intact at that point… Okay…So why does it matter if the image printing on the button is offset…? The little picture of the square is covered up by your thumb while you’re pressing it anyway…
Besides, even if you were new to a playstation controller and didn’t already know where the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this square button was, so you had to look during prompts on screen, would it matter if the little image wasn’t dead center of the button… Why are people giving op flak for returning a 70 euro item with cosmetic defects and being mildly irritated about the wasted time? Isn’t that a perfectly normal reaction? This sub used to be fun, now it’s just a bunch of people coming to piss all over your parade and tell you why you shouldn’t be remotely annoyed about the thing that you’re annoyed about. Just let people air their annoyances without the “well, actually 🧐”. You returned a functioning controller that you don’t even look at, because of a cosmetic defect. That’s crazy lol
I think it’s fair tbh, but I hate that they’ll probably throw it away now instead of gifting it to some kid that cannot afford it themselves or something… 15 hr. agourses and/or doctors (you may have never seen or met) declares that you are able to ‘function normally in society’, do you get released. Its basically time-out for grown ups. Even worse, hospitals and mental wards are somehow ALWAYS full and never have enough beds. If you aren’t a big enough risk or danger, you WILL get turned away from them. Fucked up, when you can walk into hospital, tell them that you feel suicidal, and they say go home, sleep on it, contact the Hello to the person reading this Jesus loves you and nothing you do can break that love shirt moreover I love this local Community Services Board in the morning. It’s okay. I do have no motivation in my career, which then creates some pretty bad anxiety that I am not doing enough and will lose my job, which then in turn negatively affects my relationships, but everything outside that is pretty great for me at the moment.
