Completely agree, that’s why I joined a slightly more expensive gym. Less packed, better equipment and facilities. I would say if you can afford it, then definitely find a more pricier gym, I pay £45 a month and worth every penny. You get what you buy. The sad reality is that it depends which part of London you’re in. I paid £45 for a gym in my local area and it was so busy I couldn’t ever get a machine. I’m in Whetstone and I use the Better gym in North Finchley (the East Finchley side) and it’s really good; well maintained and a decent gym and pool too. I’m a member of “The Gym” in Tottenham Hale…and even though I’ve been there over 2 years, the toilets have always smelled GOD AWFUL. Like…big fat turds and sewage.
