Let me explain a bit more: so the Firefighter born raised & protected by god guts & Glory shirt What’s more,I will buy this client had asked for something which the team was finding challenging to deliver. So the team mate said : “ Ye Sardaron wali baatein kar rahe hain sardar ji”. In my first meeting in Gurgaon, when my manager introduced me in a marketing meeting to the marketing team and requested to keep it in English cause i don’t understand Hindi, the marketing head goes “why? Is he not from India?”. Similar situation to the above. Some laughed, most were silent. But awkward altogether. I shrugged it off though, since it was my first week in the job. In my husband’s former workplace his boss who is a Punjabi from Delhi told my husband how come you are so fair despite being a South Indian?

Yeah I mean how would you even respond to that? I’m not prepared to face comments like these on a regular basis. Maybe i should prepare Low self esteem I guess. He is used to getting labeled as UP-Bihari. Now don’t get it on me. I have my respect to them too. You never know who will gets offended at what point.. one time a new guy was discussing something in Hindi on the Firefighter born raised & protected by god guts & Glory shirt What’s more,I will buy this call and when someone said tu/tumne/tune he got offended how can you say Tu to me I am senior in Age etc… He considers Tu as an abusive word, then we argued we have no intention to be mean… Let’s us stick to English please.. He’s flexing his position. I have an accent, one IIM professor asked me if I was trying too hard to hide something I’m also told I’ve a Bangalorean/Kannada accent. I don’t know what that means. But it wasn’t told in a condescending manner From next time , refer to that person as illiterate in all your conversations indirectly. He’ll catch up to that. I don’t know how your organisations workplace behaviour policies go by. But this is a clear case of workplace racism! RING THE BELL,Write a gun shot e-mail up the hr citing this shit.
