What I’m saying, Bob, is that if you do not provide the Cheap Thrills Album Design Shirt also I will do this correct amount of sustenance… ie: Money and bennies…. Then there is no way for me to grow into the role. So I am afraid I must decline until correct care is given towards that role.” So they cut a director, didn’t have a manager in place and now want you to just assume those roles at a nondirector, nonmember salary? That’s not how that works. I agree get everything in writing with deliverables and a deadline. Because you could end up working 3 jobs for the price of 1 and nothing to show for it on your resume. Immediate no! Please do not allow yourself to be exploited. They have the money no doubt but want to see if you will take the bait.

Cheap Thrills Album Design Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Just say this “No, I will not take on those responsibilities without the Cheap Thrills Album Design Shirt also I will do this appropriate compensation and title that the work merits”. If they ask or respond in any way just say “I don’t feel comfortable” and leave it at that. They’ll bait you into saying more, stand strong Been there, done that. They won’t pay you more or bump your title for at least a year, if they ever do. Get the resume updated. Take the non-Raise promotion, do the work, update your resume, and just leave. A company that doesn’t want to pay you just doesn’t respect you. Don’t take it personally, its just business. Once you have some new skills, go out and find a company that values your work ethic and skills. Then you’ll get a raise.
