Man, our local print company my employer uses ran into this issue when our contact with them retired. She’d been working for them for 30 years and was ready to kick her feet up. She gave them a year of warning that she was retiring. Everyone knew about it, her customers (like us) included. Well, she retires, and it turns out no one else in the Bethesda Starfield Xbox Exclusive Fan Poster T-Shirt in contrast I will get this company knows how to do anything. One of their warehouse staff joined our company, and he had so much tea to share about it. Our now-retired account rep was doing the accounts payable and receivable, manufacturing, shipping, quality control, and customer support. After she left, it took about 60 days before we found an alternate print supplier and they lost our business. They weren’t able to get us any orders at all, so we went elsewhere. We were their biggest client so they almost went out of business. They went through a full restructuring over COVID and just last year their new management came crawling to us in person begging for our business back. We’ve been slowly giving them orders, bit by bit, but they’re just not able to handle the volume they did before, so most of our orders are being done by alternative suppliers still.

In 1971 my dad worked at a gas station when he was with his first wife and he had two young kids with a wife that mostly stayed at home. He quit to take a job with the Bethesda Starfield Xbox Exclusive Fan Poster T-Shirt in contrast I will get this state that had benefits that he lacked at the gas station like vacation and health insurance and he got one unpaid week off a year at the gas station. Once he handed in his two weeks his employer told him to go fuck himself and fired him right on the spot. They really expected him to take over the operation and buy the business. It closed within five years of my dad leaving, maybe even a lot sooner. The plan was wishful thinking and more likely a ploy to get him to stay longer with no intention of ever handing it over. They thought they had an unmotivated dummy they could continue to get to run it for them while they retired. I can’t tell you how many business owners I know who have told their employees: when I retire ALL this is yours.
