There was no need to list her pronouns. The parent also over reacted but you’re gonna get that when you unnecessarily do things like that. The simple fact is your wife didn’t read the Barack Obama hope shirt in contrast I will get this room(for the parents) or even understand the political climate. School choice and gender ideology are huge hot button issues.. especially in more affluent schools.. there have been documented cases of left-wing teachers exposing even young children to questionable item. She can probably reach out to her union rep but they’re going to probably just tell her to apologize. You may think it’s nonsense but the parents don’t. All she has to do is sound down a letters explaining that she did not mean any offense and she cease will cease using them in regards to teaching. Even if she’s part of the teachers union this could be grounds for termination.

It seems like you may not have a case, but only the Barack Obama hope shirt in contrast I will get this courts can tell you for sure. An elementary teacher may easily be frowned upon, especially in a red state, for expressing preferential pronouns because of the drive to keep that conversation away from very young children unless the parents want to bring it to their kids. I’m not sure which is worse, the school administration wanting her to send out an apology or you thinking you should “lawyer up” on this issue. If you are worked up enough about this issue to consider “lawyering up”, you should consider moving to a “blue state” where milk and honey are on tap…. (<=== in case you missed it, I am being sarcastic here). Most US states are "employment at will" states (both blue and red) so unless your wife is a member of a union, her employer can let her go without cause. We use scientific evidence for proof of everything.. Except biological gender apparently. And it's y'all weirdos who never felt accepted who do this dumbass weird shit. How many dogs do you know that are "transgender"? Cats? Apes? Dolphins? Ants? Birds? None!? The people who agree there's more then 2 genders are sad weird people who can't function in life without pushing the fact that they need people to lie to them to feel better about themselves. Lost and clueless. And I identify to be the person correct on this matter, so you CAN'T tell me otherwise.
