Watch the Ballpark Green Grateful Dead Logo shirt in addition I really love this Logan Marr doc. Cps does not always act in best interest of the kids, Logan Marr was killyin the care of a cps worker, and was abused in the cps worker’s home. Just wanted to say so sorry for what you’re going through. Also I gave birth in Alberta in November and I most definitely was NOT drug tested, it is not routine (I’ve had 3 babies) at least not in Alberta. I sincerely hope you get your little love back because no parents should go through what you are right now, especially when all you want to do is adjust to life as a family I would contact every indigenous agency in the city to find help. I hope you get your baby back. I hope you all recover from this trauma. This is racism and you need to get a better lawyer stat. After everything that’s happened with the church and schools and indigenous children – you need to FIGHT back hard. Do not tolerate this racist and prejudice behaviour from the hospital or CPS. I would be filing against them immediately for this. Especially because you have clean drug tests and a clean home. Start building evidence STAT. Record calls, get everything in writing – text or email. Follow up with emails about discussions you’ve had so that it’s in writing. Document every person you talk to- names and IDs or anything you need to prove who you spoke with. And start firing back legal action immediately. Even if you don’t have a good lawyer yet- throw it down. Then find one who will actually do their job and defend you. I would take this to court and file for damages because of the trauma they caused you and this baby who needs it mother. They are robbing the baby of important time to bond with its own parents.

I am part native and I would absolutely lose my shit over this. I don’t even know how you are managing!! But stay in there! Book free consults with a few different lawyers and interview them to find the Ballpark Green Grateful Dead Logo shirt in addition I really love this best one. It sounds like they’re trying to steal your baby. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. This should be a time for you to be bonding with your baby at home. Instead your baby was taken from you and is now with strangers. Fight this with everything you have. No offense, rogue, but your response is more likely to further traumatize the poster than be helpful to them. Just sayin, in a hopefully constructive way. Peace. First off CAS doesnt deal with Indigenous children. Indigenous kids have their own version of CAS that only deals with families of Indigenous status and they wont take kids from a home unless it is very severe neglect or drug use in the home. Second of all they dont just go into people house’s and take thier children away , the OP is not telling the entire story… Like mandatory drug tests at the hospital. There was obviously serious concern for the babies well being to be taken into care. My wife grew up as a Crown Ward and is Indigenous and worked for Kinna which is the “Native CAS”. Its operated in conjunction with the band office so most of you are uneducated on the matter. Ya years ago many native kids were taken out of thier home unjustly but thats why they have their own version of CAS now so that doesnt happen again.
