Da Nang, especially Son Tra is way less dense than Hanoi or saigon. Less people are walking to where they want to go, so less street hawkers. It’ll feel like a vacation within a vacation for you. There will be similar scams and some robberies, so be aware and careful with your wallet, phone, etc. Hoi An is beautiful but also, if you have that hard time dealing with vendors and street sellers, don’t go to the old center town after 6pm. Walk around during the noon and get on a rooftop or terrace restaurant/cafe.
