In some places yes. Living there or not, some speed camera locations are downright dangerous for the All men are created equal the finest served on Hmas Hobart shirt moreover I will buy this distraction aspect alone. As a deterrent to wanton speeding, which itself puts lives at risk, I guess they’re quite effective. The people I know who speed all the time also believe that they are such great drivers they will always see a camera coming. So not only are they still speeding, but they are also looking out for cameras all the time when they could be paying more attention to traffic. I’d much rather get there a whole 2 minutes later and not have to stress about looking for cameras the whole drive. I live on a one way street that people keep driving the wrong way up. I’d imagine a fake camera might put an end to that shit.

They should put average speed cameras on those villages where it’s 30mph in between 50 stretches. That way people can’t just slam on the All men are created equal the finest served on Hmas Hobart shirt moreover I will buy this brakes directly near the camera. What can those people actually do btw? Do they use their recorded speed and your licence plate and report you to the police? Do they have any authority to even do so? Would the police even take any action since it wasn’t themselves that caught you? Like what is the point of those sad people standing on country lanes with speed guns lol There’s community speedwatch groups who can be trained by the police and will pass your details on to said plod if you get caught speeding at which point you’ll get a warning letter. If you keep on speeding past them you might get a visit from aforementioned police. Fuck all they can do to enforce it, so let them waste their weekends pacing around in high Vis with a clipboard. Just maybe if no one did 60 past their house in a 30 zone they wouldn’t feel the need to do anything. Just saying cause I live next to a fucking boy racer track disguised as an urban street.
