Then they’ve got some skin in the Zelda Korok Flora Of Hyrule shirt Furthermore, I will do this game, and if they decide you’re “Not working out,” they have to publicly acknowledge it, not quietly screw you and deny. Further if they don’t meet their obligations to you, you can put the actual work you did, with the appropriate title, on your resume. 1,123 more repliesAbsolutely not! Say you’re very thankful for the opportunity and interested in the role but you can’t take on a director or management role without a pay increase. Tell then you’d be happy to apply for the role and go through an interview process, but if they want you to take on the role immediately, it’ll need to involve a pay raise. You’ll be doing a different job with more responsible and no compensation. They’ve worked with you, they already know you’re a good worker, hence them giving you the title. You have nothing to prove. If you don’t work out, they can let you go.

If you do, take the Zelda Korok Flora Of Hyrule shirt Furthermore, I will do this position with the title, update your CV today with that info and drop them the moment you’re offered the job with its appropriate wage somewhere else. Don’t look back. Colleague of mine at my current company. He moved into a new role with the promise of title change and pay bump ‘within about a year’. He’s at 2 years and is even farther away from title and pay bump than when he began the role and does all the work of the former director. If they are playing that game – they at LEAST can put a plan in writing with a schedule and milestones/objectives for you to hit which will equate to title and raise. if they can’t/won’t, then you’re just keeping the chair warm for one of the execs to find a friend to put in your chair. Nope the fuck out of that one. No pay, no extra work. If you do the job to ‘see how you do’ you will never see the money. Tell them they just let a high level person go so you know they have the money. Get the pay raise and if you don’t work out in the new role they can discuss moving you back to your old position at your old pay rate. Tell them no, you don’t work for free. They can advertise the job and select the best candidate. If the money’s good, maybe you’ll apply.
