Due to a disability im pretty disconnected from my emotions meaning that i do experience them but just way more abstract and less acute than most people which in turn makes the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this “f it we ball”-approach to mental health very easy for me – which means that im your typical masc guy. I dont really speak about my problems or feelings, ive never learned how to, showing vulnerability feels like a weakness (and i mean it sort of objectively is, controlling your emotions is a skill of sorts and a burden to bear but that doesnt mean i dont understand that its unhealthy) and generally speaking i am not a fan of being a burden on others. Everybody has their problems so i like to keep mine to myself and i almost get a sort of statisfactions from being able to do that and im pretty successful at it tbh, Im not depressed or generally unhappy.
You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt: Embrace Your Uniqueness
I’ve been working on myself lately. Just trying to get fit and go to therapy to deal with my mental health. I’ve been in 8 relationships within the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this last 6 years and only 1 felt like I was valued, until I wasn’t. I got a home with this girl, planned to marry her, and for multiple compounding reasons, I started becoming hysterical and suicidal. I told her how I was feeling and that I needed help and she began talking to other people while we were together. She must have felt scared or just burdened by what was going on with me and eventually I hit a breaking point when I found out what was going on. I told her I was thinking about leaving and she didn’t put any effort into stopping me. Within the week, she had a Tinder account set up (per a friend that had screenshot her Tinder profile) and was already with a guy she worked with.
That along with 15+ years of depression and undiagnosed Bipolar 2, I was an emotional wreck. Couldn’t tell you how much I wished I were dead when that all was going on. I got to the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this point where I was sitting on a cliffside, gun in hand, watching the sunset while taking a break on an afternoon solo motorcycle ride. I ended up wagering what the pros and cons would be to shooting myself right then and there. Ultimately I just didn’t want to upset my mom and it’s been the only thing keeping me going. I’m trying to be better, be healthy, learn to love myself, and spend time with my family before they’re gone. It’s hard. Nothing good ever came easy though. more fragile than i’m comfortable admitting irl. i find myself examining my “friendships” only to find them all being situationships. i’m just learning to roll with the punches. i’m finding things i enjoy and just latching onto them instead of relying on other people. I live with bipolar disorder, so it’s like owning a car that need regular maintenance. Fragile? Well, I know I’m sensitive without being a doormat.
How I can buy this You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt
Realistically, nobody cares about men’s mental health. Most men don’t have a “best friend” that they confide in. Just not a part of our lives. Unfortunately, I share the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this same feeling. I believe that after a few long-term relationships, I don’t have enough energy to deal with the dynamics of what a relationship itself is. In my experience, I felt that I never had the flexibility to be tired, feel bad, depressed or anxious. I always, always need to be willing and ready to deal with situations. Something that bothers me a lot is the fact that my love is “cozy”. It creates a non-existent comfort, where my partners would stop dedicating themselves to basic things in the relationship, just because I always provided the comfort they needed to feel secure with themselves.
I think I’m going to try to live my life as a single man, and focus all my time on myself. I’m tired of dealing with people and their problems. I don’t think this dynamic is for me anymore. I’m doing great since my divorce a year ago. Marraige was really draggin me down. She broke it bad. I was sad for a few days, then found a huge sense of relief. Loving life now. Not horrible. I’m trying to cut out my anti depressants. I want to get out for bike rides as the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this weather warms. Mostly I work hard on fixing things that bug me and not being an asshole My truck just got stolen and crashed today because im fucking idiot who left keys inside the truck, my house was practically destroyed by a garage fire 7 months ago and we are nowhere near fixing/rebuilding it, I have no friends, No talents, No goals, No achievements. I failed out of college and generally consider myself a failure. I just turned 21 and I hear I should be enjoying life more at this age but instead im wasting it being miserable. Ive never dated anyone. I have tinnitus in my ears 24/7 because I was a dumbass in my early teenage years with loud earbud usage. I killed my favorite pet conure by accident 3 years ago and im still not over it. I had the chance to save 2 family members from suicide and did nothing to help. Im still in covid mode and talk/call no one.
I cant help it though, I hate myself with a passion. Everything bad in my life is my fault, and Ive been stuck in this state since 2015. I hate hate hate myself, I really do. I keep messing up just like I always have, and it feels like every time i start picking up the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this pieces and getting myself together some new bad, disastrous thing happens to throw me back into the darkness of my shitty state of mind. Im exhausted and haven’t even begun to put myself together again, my anxiety is at peak levels constantly to the point that I went the ER 2 months ago because I thought I was dying after taking adhd meds that made the anxiety spike. My mental health is not fragile, its in pieces and every time I put it together something new shatters it again. Im so scared about the future honestly, I cant stop catastrophising and the lack of someone to talk to leaves me with only myself to talk to, and I just drive myself insane with worry and guilt.
Life feels like a dream, except its a series of nightmares that I fear will only get worse. My truck just got stolen and crashed for nothing , it doesnt feel real yet. I have comprehensive insurance, but im still pissed at myself for being stupid enough to leave the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this keys inside. Im a complete fool and a loser and thats why this shit keeps happening to me. When I share how I feel with family im told to stop feeling sorry for myself, but I hate myself and don’t feel sorry at all. I start telling myself I deserve bad things happening to me, and that this what I get for being a stupid piece of shit. The scariest part at this point is the derealization, void, and sense of being on edge I feel constantly. It robs your life of joy, and most of the time I don’t see how im gonna get out of this terrible state of mind. I dont see myself being happy or content any time soon, my house and car are gone now and it’s my fault, and the impact it has on my family is the worst part.
Sorry for ranting, i have no one to talk to and my truck just got stolen and crashed for no fucking reason other then because im stupid enough to forget my keys. I really hate myself because this shit keeps happening, with a passion. Im embarrassed to even tell anyone anymore. I also could have saved my house from being practically destroyed by the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this fire, I caught it early and got my family out but I panicked when I saw it was an old car on fire. I was certain it was gonna explode because the gas tank was burning when I noticed it, but now all my belongings and entire home are coated in toxic smoke. Im beyond frustrated, and im afraid the smoke/soot could harm us and give us cancer. We have insurance but its taking forever and we grabbed stuff shortly after the fire when we shouldn’t have grabbed anything for health reasons.
Just in general im a complete mess and train wreck and im convinced that these bad things keep happening because im a terrible and stupid person who deserves it. Im seeing a therapist but progress is slow, and I feel like its not enough to have only one person you can talk to, especially when they only listen because it’s their job. Terrible. The last time I felt at peace deep down was when I was so deep in a sleep that I forgot the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this concept of myself and being alive. Just complete nothingness till the alarm went off. That was months ago. Sometimes there is a lot of pain physically and emotionally. But the tears don’t flow. Only anger at myself and the others around me. I hope I feel truly happy someday. My mental health is strong as iron. Ive definitely sacrificed it over relationships in the past but now i put myself first. Im very comfortable by myself so spending extended periods of time by myself isnt an issue and i dont go crazy from it. Ive been away from home for about 6 months living by myself and really havent spoken to many people at all since ive been here. A life of solitude is a life of peace.
Just started my internship which is at such a sick company I feel privileged just working there. My partner has no job and wasn’t doing shit in the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this house, I also work in a warehouse at another place to keep income steady so I got mad at my partner for being lazy (in the most calm and understanding way). They got the message and do most chores now, I chime in where I can! So it’s great Not sure if this is a “moths to the flame” topic or what, but the responses are startling to me. Personally, my mental health is great…but perhaps it’s because I have no interest in the opinions most people have of me. Peace and strength to those who feel otherwise. I have been feeling like im 1 minor inconvenience away from erupting in a ball of self destructing flames for more than a year. Shit gets tiring. Shit doesnt get any better. Will it ever? Im so tired Let me put it this way. I was surprised when I was told it’s not normal to have suicide as a legit fall back option. I thought everyone thought like that.
It was pretty bad when I was younger, but I can say it’s gotten better as I’ve gotten older. Still have some moments of fragility though. I don’t know how to start this. As far back as I can remember I have known that what I do and how I act are totally up to me. I have an above average IQ and I know it. So if I catch myself being taken advantage of by others around me I will slack it off a little until it stops happening. I have only had to put a fast end to something twice in my You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this life. I try to be nice, as a matter of fact I prefer to be nice. But if needed I can be a dick as well. So I am far from fragile. I am very sure of myself. I have been called simple and I would accept that. I do what I want, how I want, and when I want. I am far from rich. But I am very happy in my life and with my family and friends.
It’s pretty damn fragile. I’m still young and I know life will throw a LOT at me as I grow older, that’s why I’m doing my best to improve my mental health everyday I put on a smile for my kid, but I’m waiting on the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this bad day with my wife. It’s going to hit probably sometime this year based on how things have been since about 2021. I’m naturally neurotic but I have great relationships based on clear communication and reciprocal acts of service. Other men might scoff at this but my life improved immensely once I spent more time listening to women and trying to get into their headspace. I’m a mess, I’m in a good relationship, but I work 12 hour shifts and have 4 kids at home. I get like 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night if I’m lucky. It’s hard to get time to work on my mental health.
I have 4 relationships I’m clinging to. Other than that I’m clinging on by a string pulled out of cheap fabric. I’m taking my antidepressants & seeing my therapist, but… DAMN!!! Is it hard to hold on!! But the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this daily stress of just existing is exhausting. I barely have the energy to do the stuff I like to do and unless I medicate myself I only sleep for about 3 hours a night on average. So I’m looking forward to my inevitable mental breakdown. I’m still recovering. It’s been 8 months since I quit my job to focus on getting better. First few months were rough and I didn’t move from my bed. I’ve certainly felt more alive in the last 2 months, been going for some walks, actually leaving the house, actually doing my grocery shopping. Things aren’t too bad I guess. If only the world would also sort itself out in a similar way. I just quit my job,my depression is destroying me,and I can’t afford the help. Well, I sure as shit can’t afford it now. Now I’m just debating is life still worth it.
Kind of fucked up, but not fragile. Like an old beaten up tool that would make someone else wonder how the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this thing can even function, whereas you are so familiar with its perks and workarounds that relying on it is just a part of your normal work day Honestly right now the only thing making me not consider offing myself is it will sadden my dog to not see me again. Not fragile at all. Not that I’m boasting or saying I’m superior in any way. It’s just how it is. I’m very secure in myself. Therapist here. I work primarily with men and one thing i often hear is low self-esteem and lack of fulfilling friendships/relationships among men. I think men are often forgotten about because of the expectation that men are “tough.” It shouldn’t be that way.
I’ve been there. Boundaries man, you have to put up boundaries and keep them, it’s really hard when you don’t value yourself enough. It wont happen overnight but it gains momentum quickly. It improves your self esteem, keeps shit people away and makes you accountable to yourself. Easier said than done, I was in a relationship with a narcissist and it fucking wrecked me. I learned the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this hard way. I’m broken. I was verbally abused and cheated on by someone who once told me that we were for life and meant for each other. I have no more self worth. It’s gone. I have no more self-esteem. It doesn’t exist. I feel that I am not good enough. A feeling that won’t ever go away. Im suicidal pretty much for the past two years. Nothing helped, therapy (where the therapist was actually talking more about herself than actually attending my problems), medications, vacations (half a year off work), working out, eating well. Nothing ever will help and that’s it for me. It can be in certain area for sure. I think people often try and compare men vs female and we forget that we ALL are unique and come from different paths and walks of life. I myself to get insecure myself about whom I am in many areas. I make the mistakes of looking into little things sometimes and make them out to be something they are not. Something Im proud to learn to have learned bout myself is I’m not too proud to admit when I’m wrong or be proven wrong. I still have so much to learn (M31).
I don’t know that I would say I feel fragile (though part of that can just be resistance to a stigmatized label), but I can recognize that my feelings are now jaded towards other people and I put less effort into my friendships if I think they aren’t reciprocating. I’m much more quick to disengage with new people when I perceive a red flag. I don’t think its bad or wrong that many of my friendships don’t, “work out”. I think people’s lives intersect at some points (or multiple points) and when we drift apart there doesn’t have to be a “reason” if no one did anything wrong. I also try not to rely on other people to make my life livable or happy. If you give someone the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this keys to your happiness they can take them away too. I think I’m generally more happy, even if I’m not content. There’s less joy with the less depression, but its better for me, at least in this current draft of “my self”. not me writing this from the other side of the world away from my loved ones, with no real friends, struggling through daily life because it’s too much of a stereotype but I also can afford more stuff than back home & I feel like I’m just drowning myself in alcohol or doing stupid things just for the thrill of it. –
Not that fragile anymore. I’m now able to identify the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this causes of my anxiety thanks to some CBT I did with my therapist. I’ve stopped smoking weed which was only contributing to the problem. Ive also cut down my drinking to only on weekends. I’ve learned to voice my concerns in my relationships and to walk away when I feel that I’m being mistreated. I’ve also learned how to enjoy my own company and now highly value my alone time. I’m a gay man. And while I feel I’ve made a lot of progress in my mental health, most of the other gay guys I know are really messed up — especially those that came of age before or after gay rights picked up steam. Most of us have no role models for healthy behaviors or relationships. Then there’s the trauma of growing up in an environment where being yourself could have gotten you killed. However, in a lot of ways, we share a lot of the same mental health issues straight dudes have: Extreme repression of emotions, no understanding of healthy behaviors in a relationship, fear of behaving in a way that’s considered “not manly”, escapism through drugs and sex… etc. You gotta learn not to base your self worth on your relationships. That’s how you become emotionally dependent. Find worth in yourself and contentedness independently and your relationships will benefit.
Growing up it was fragile. Pretty much broken on occasion due to racism and bullying against me. But what is broken can’t be broken again easily. I’ve fixed myself up and don’t let others bother me too much. On the You’ve Been Baaaah’d This Year Goats With Santa Hats Scarf ELF Shirt But I will love this whole, ok. I’ve been in some dark places and almost killed myself in 2016. Since then I’ve come out (genderfluid/crossdresser), and have been true to myself and things have never been better. I’m in a loving relationship, I have dozens of wonderful friends around me, I’m in a drumming band and I’m about to start a new business. For the first time in my life, I feel loved, I feel like I belong somewhere, and things are good. That isn’t to say I still don’t have my moments, and suicidal thoughts are never, ever very far away. I’ve now got the tools to ignore them, and those thoughts in my head are usually quiet. But every now and again, the thoughts creep back in and occasionally dominate. But I can put them back into the shadows, where they belong. It’s just about being kind to yourself, looking at the bigger picture and reminding yourself that we’re here for what, 80 years max. We’re gonna be dead forever at some stage, we may as well try and enjoy the short time we have. Mental health is like a wall. Sometimes it is strong, other times it may crumble or need a couple of bricks replacing. It needs maintenance and care in order to stay strong.
