A typical office job is 2 hours of actual work spread over an 8 hour day. In IT I got so bored waiting for tickets I started helping the janitors sweep and carry shit. Let’s just say I wouldn’t take a 100% payraise if I had to be a full time janitor, and most people who even make $100k wouldn’t do it either. I wouldn’t work at McDonalds for $100k. So why do we pay them so little?
