Definitely agree with this. It’s okay to change styles, or have multiple styles going on at once. And trends will dictate what everyone wears to some extent, but I think what’s most important is choosing items because you like them, whether it’s “this” brand or not. In saying that, I love the Y’all gonna make me lose my mind up in here up in here shool bus shirt but in fact I love this Margiela GATs, but I have questioned whether I would wear them if they were a $20 shoe from a department store. So I think this is normal, we shouldn’t beat ourselves up too much, and just because you were on one end of the spectrum, doesn’t mean you need to go on the other extreme. ordered 3 hauls of reps and God showed me the vanity behind clothing. I even lost all my rep shoes when I moved and they are stored somewhere in a mountain of boxes. I only use 1 pair of nike shoes that are black and running shoes. I also realized some rep shirts and such were low quality and eventually ended up giving them away and never using them. I still use some reps here and there like a cool sweater or my ripped balenciaga shirt to the gym. But I realized most of the things I bought as reps were unnecessary and were purchased because I felt so cool being able to wear clothes that looked awesome without paying much. If I could go back, I would only order maybe 2-3 things that were really unique and I know I would be using weekly. I thank God everyday I got out of the rep trap and only ended up spending around 800. I will use the money I make to work towards my business I am running right now. In the future though, I definitely will cop some cool pieces 🙂 #repsfam4life (just don’t spend too much xD)

Real asf. My hauls used to be Supreme, Essentials, Vlone and whatever Jordan was trending at the Y’all gonna make me lose my mind up in here up in here shool bus shirt but in fact I love this time. I still buy branded clothes but only things that I would genuinely wear. Biggest piece of advice I can give to anyone starting out is to think carefully about what you’re buying before you add it to your cart I had it like that till a few weeks ago. gonna move soon so I decided to sell some stuff and also donate a lot. It feels so good now. Less stuff to care about, and other people are using those clothes At least it’s money well spent, imagine spending the real amount (retail price of your reps) and realizing it much later that it isn’t what you truly like. I’m really glad you see your own flaws bro most people don’t I agree but this logic is flawed. I spend a fraction of the time thinking of what rep im going to buy than if its with retail. Not to mention im probably not buying designer clothes at retail prices. The only reason i buy reps are cause theyre good quality, cheap and still designer clothes.
