We went to the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this Prado museum in Spain and right as we were entering, the prince of spain (now presently the king) and his wife were just leaving and walked by us. Barely got to see them in a crowd of people. My son and I went to Japan after he graduated high school. One of the best things (and there were many) was when we went to itsukushima the tide was out so far we were able to touch the famous torii. I was staying at an Airbnb in central Avignon for only three days. I shared the apartment with an older woman, the owner, who was planning a hiking + beach day with her friend and asked me if I wanted to join. The three of us drove together and ended up hiking through these beautiful cliffs with a view of the crystal clear water and Marseille way out in the horizon. We finished the hike at a secret beach where we shared snacks and tortilla española that they had brought. The host and I went swimming and she laughed out of joy every time a wave hit her. I’ll never forget that day. Went to Hualien last year, solo. Stayed at a local hostel. Became friends with the staff and they introduce me to another guest. He’s a fighter jet pilot, he tour me around the area for a day and end I up on Taiwan national TV for an interview.

We went on a snorkeling excursion in Maui and ended up seeing humpback whales, spinner dolphins, bottle nose dolphins and sea turtles during the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this boat ride Last summer my bf and I traveled for two weeks or so to Spain, France, Italy, and Switzerland. We’re young (early 20s) and tried to be cheap (Switerland was a bad idea in hindsight). For my birthday, he bought us a day tour to Mt. Rigi and Lake Lucerne. On Mt. Rigi, the two of us just sat on this bench staring out at the Alps. We just soaked in the view for an hour and felt like the luckiest people in the world. Best day of my life 🙂 Walking through Assisi. Met an elderly nun named Sister Berenice – kind, funny, no nonsense. She let me help her carry bags of food and cleaning supplies through Assisi’s cobblestone streets to some infirm people she was going to visit and feed and clean their homes for them. She also asked me whether I’d eaten already, then told me where to get the most delicious porchetta sandwich in the city, which I did after we parted ways. She was right. I was so glad that I had some Italian under my belt so we could have an real conversation. It felt like a magical encounter, and like I truly experienced the heart of the city. I think St Francis would have approved.
When I was a teenager, I got to sit IN the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this cockpit for the last half-hour of the flight and for the approach and landing into a beautiful major city all lit up at night! This was well before 9/11, of course…no way this would happen now. I got lucky! Oh and the pilot also asked me out for a drink afterwards but I politely declined. I traveled to Montenegro and visited Sveti Stefan in September 2021. There was a beach, usually owned by Aman resorts, where the prices for a couple of beach beds were about 250 Euros. However, that year the hotel was closed, so this private beach was free. This is a beautiful place in the bay, surrounded by a park with its own grotto and crystal-clear blue water, and I was there completely alone. It’s impossible to put into words how stunning it is. I can’t attach photos here, but you can google some photos of Sveti Stefan Queens beach I was driving down the road into Valdez, Alaska. I looked out my window to see a bald eagle flying right next to the car. He kept us company for about a mile, staying right above car top level, about 10 ft to the left of the car.

Caught a solar flare/coronal mass ejection in the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this north of Iceland on a night when the kp index was barely a 2 (meaning little-to-no activity). Just happened to go out to the car to grab something at 2 AM and the sky was exploding with greens, pinks, and purples. We were so stunned we couldn’t even move to grab our phones/cameras. I’ve been lucky to see many aurora in Iceland but that one was just mind blowing. Honestly any time I’m in Iceland I feel like the luckiest person on earth. It’s just so insanely beautiful. On my final cruise ship contract I got to see a total solar eclipse from the middle of the south pacific ocean. I had a couple beautiful experiences when I lived in Brasil in 1986. I got really fed up with São Paulo so I packed a backpack and traveled around the country. On a long train ride to nowhere, I sat next to a young girl who had no concept of me being from a faraway place (near Chicago). I had to estimate how many days it would take us traveling in that train in order to get to my house. When we stopped at a station, her mom bought some fruits and shared. I looked at this odd tropical fruit, and bit in to it. My first taste of a guava: OMG, sweet and so luscious, dribbling juice down my arm! A few weeks later I was in a town where I had the phone number of someone I had met briefly before. We met up for dinner, and a friend of hers was shocked that I, a young single woman, was staying alone in a crappy hotel. She took me home with her and her mom and brother spent the next two days sharing their apartment and their culture with me. They took me to museums and other places. They cooked me local food. They made a bossa nova mix tape for me! We cried when it was time for me to leave. Although we did not keep in touch, I will never forget their kindness and I have paid it back/forward many times since then. 💕
I made an internship to the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this US along with a bunch of people from my university. There was this one guy in our group who I liked, we hooked up a few times but nothing serious. After the internship was over some of us went to New York City for a few days before coming back home, I stayed in a hostel with a friend and travelled mostly with her. Until the day I was crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and just happened to meet that guy there, in the middle of the crowd. We made some plans and later spent a whole day together walking around NY, on a proper date. He is my husband now. My wife and I flew delta one from NY to Italy for our honeymoon round trip for a less than half of what it would normally cost for 1 ticket. We also got to stay at an amazing bed and breakfast for basically 50% off.
Getting to know the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this owners and regulars at the local pubs in Europe – stayed in five different countries for a month each and got to know so many friendly locals by visiting the pubs. So so lucky to have those experiences. Flying back from our trip in Spain from Barcelona (BCN>CDG>YYZ) when we got to CDG my wife’s and my plane tickets changed from premium economy to business but we thought it was a fluke, until we saw our seat numbers! Somehow got a free upgrade unasked for to Business on a 787 Dreamliner! Wasn’t our first time in Business (second after our honeymoon) but our first in the pods. Amazing luck!! My family traveled to California for a cousin’s wedding during the presidential campaign season. One day, we didn’t have much planned, so we went looking around for things to do. Parked the rental under a hotel with a gift shop inside for souvenirs. Took a walk and found a textile museum and some other cool stuff to explore for a bit before going to said gift shop, buying souvenirs, and going back to the hotel for dinner. At the hotel, turned on the TV, which was set to a local news channel. The very parking area we had just left had been rioted and many of the cars damaged or destroyed by attendees of a local campaign rally.
I was on vacation in Oahu and decided to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. It was late afternoon and I was fully prepared to deal with crowds of people, but when we showed up, it was almost empty. I ended up getting to snorkel with a sea turtle by myself for 20-30 minutes. Just for reference, I kept my distance and allowed him to approach me. I got lucky because he decided wanted to swim with me 🙂 I traveled to Japan this year on feb and experienced the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this amazing snow fall in Tokyo. Me and my friends were dancing under the snow in Shinjuku! It’s very rare for it to snow in Tokyo. Plus it was my first experience seeing snow fall 😀 We went to Lake Clark National Park in Alaska by floatplane to see bears. The weather was sunny and cloudless which made the water a magnificent blue. Our guide said it was only the second day all season with weather that good and it was August. There was a mama bear with her three cubs chilling at the beach. They were so used to visitors that they just sat there even though we were only about 50 feet away. We saw a dozen bears in total but the weather with the family of bears next to this beautiful lake surrounded by mountains was extremely special. I had a pretty great day today. Currently in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. This morning we walked around Mistico Hanging bridges which were interesting- the guide was wonderful, we saw monkeys, lizards, snakes and lots of birds and the weather was pleasant. Then we had lunch at a delicious soda (patacones!!), went and played in the free hot springs outside of town, got a massage and then went for pizza and a beer. Watching my daughters climb around in the river with steam rising from it, while it poured down rain was heavenly.
Being in Berlin in November 1989 when The Wall (border to East Germany) opened up. There was an amazing vibe, like a huge family reunion, in the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this city. Also, being on a cruise excursion to The Hubbard Glacier when a huge section calved. It was a spectacular sight. Bad luck story – I went whale-watching in the Pacific from Depoe Bay, OR and missed seeing any whales because I was too seasick. I spent most of the trip in the bathroom and could hear everyone else out on the deck gasping and hollering as grey whales breached near our boat. At least I got to see some cool photos of the whales after we returned to the harbor and got off the boat. We visited Peru and Machu Picchu in February. So it is the rainy season with fewer tourists and some things were cheaper. The lucky part came in when we took to the train to Aguas Calientes from Cusco. There were mudslides that cancelled multiple trains all week, but we were able to get a train to AC and back. We did have an hour or more delay as a mudslide was cleared on our return to Ollantaytambo, but we were able to see the ruins on our trip and if it had not been that day, we would not have been able to get there.
Went to Ireland last summer. We were looking for trad music sessions at several bars that the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this internet recommended. Ended up mistaking which room the bartender was pointing us to, and ended up sitting in on a meeting of the local folk singing club. All a capella, and gorgeous. Multiple generations there sharing songs they’d been sharing for decades. Not a performance for tourists, and we were kind of holding our breath and keeping a low profile. Closest this atheist has come to feeling a “holy communion” experience that people get from church. Met a local Hungarian couple on a train to Budapest that offered to drive me around on a tour of the city that night. One of the coolest experiences I’ve had
Went to Willie May’s Scotch House in New Orleans. We Uber there and the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this card machines are down and I don’t have enough cash to cover the three of us. The restaurant says there’s an ATM about a mile away, but it’s not the best neighborhood. A nice couple from AL overheard my conversation and offered to drive me to the nearest ATM and back to the restaurant. Two years ago I did my first solo trip to Italy. On my flight there, I had the whole row to myself. My flight was comfortable and I even got extra snacks. The hotel I stayed in was 10 steps away from the pantheon AND a police station (not planned) so I always felt safe. I met people who quickly became friends and we went on amazing food and wine tours together. I never felt alone. I also attended the popes mass at the Vatican by accident and it was incredible. Best experience of my life.
We were the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this only ones who booked those dates and they brought two porters, a guide and a chef for just me and my husband. I got altitude sickness part way up and we ended up having to sleep at the campsite where we were supposed to have lunch, which freaked the guides out because they thought it was haunted. We ended up arriving late at Machu Picchu. It was an hour before it closed and the guides were hustling everyone on to busses. Our guide convinced them to let us stay and we had it to ourselves for 45 minutes before taking the last bus down for the day with all of the staff. We had booked a 4 night, 5 day trek with the 4th night being in Aguas Caliente and the 5th day being a guided tour. So we went back on the 5th day (all nicely showered, which was heavenly) and got a detailed tour. But I will never forget the peacefulness of having it all to ourselves at the end of the day.
Visited a tiny beautiful village in Provence in April. Was almost deserted… But there was an older gentleman singing 50s/60s American music, mostly Elvis and Sinatra. I ended up talking to him (mostly in French) for 20 ish minutes. He was so happy I (a young American guy) had come to his little village! Was especially meaningful cause it was a day of solo travel I was feeling especially lonely until that special moment Once in Cusco, Peru I gave an extra Picarones to a dude on the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this street and he invited me to meet his family and eat dinner together. We had Pollo a là Brasa and Cusco beers. My husband and I, holding our toddler sons, on a gondola car ride up to the Great Wall. We’ve traveled a lot with our kids and have since they were months old each, but that was truly a surreal moment of looking at us two living our dreams and just so much gratitude for it.
Avoiding vaccines was very hip in the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this very left progressive granola chrunchies. MAGAts took that terrible idea and said hold my beer because orange man is a stupid narcissist criminal and they are giant morons. What does “very hip” and “very left” even mean? The reality is that anti-vaccination sentiment was higher among conservatives well before the pandemic, and has increased to over 40%. Meanwhile, the rate on the left has remained low.. This was and is a conservative problem. Yeah it was just the kids at Waldorf schools and communes pretty much until covid. It still sucked and it was still stupid and selfish but now there’s a lot more of it. But still autism going on in those communities, which was always the concern I heard from those moms. I believe the biggest reason for the increased autism in children is better diagnosis and more children getting the proper assistance they need.
Environmental factors and older parents have way more to do with congenital defects than the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this perceived side effects of vaccines. The problem with measles is that it’s so contagious that someone who isn’t an asshole is going to watch their infant die from a disease they aren’t old enough to be fully protected from. Their older kids will be ok because they’re vaccinated, I can’t believe it hasn’t happened already. Our society has benefitted from medical science for so long that few people realize that there ARE deadly diseases that used to cripple and kill children. They become arrogant and scornful of modern medicine and shun vaccinations. Even if their children are healthy, they have a societal obligation to get vaccinated. There are other children who cannot get vaccinated; these children depend on others not spreading diseases.
Given the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this hostile attitude towards education in general in Florida, I don’t know why any loving parent would want to raise kids in Florida. Honestly it was a great state for education. They have the Bright Futures scholarship (or had, I don’t know if they still do) for top students to go to the University of Florida, which is/was a really good school. My friend’s son got a free ride thanks to the scholarship. As a person with autism, I sincerely hope that anyone who doesn’t vaccinate their kids due to fear of vaccines causing the ’tism goes bankrupt from the medical bills and hates themselves forever. Their faces are too icky for even a leopard to eat. Right? Even if vaccines regularly did cause autism (they don’t) – how is that worse than a crippled or even dead child?! Nothing in this math adds up.
Terrible. Especially since the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this Measles wipes out your immune system, it makes your body forget anything you’ve ever caught. Essentially, when you’re infected with measles, your immune system abruptly forgets every pathogen it’s ever encountered before – every cold, every bout of flu, every exposure to bacteria or viruses in the environment, every vaccination. The loss is near-total and permanent. If only there was some sort of thing you could give to kids to strengthen their immune system to diseases like this. Huh. But they hazzem the Healing Power O’Jesus! They don’t need none that Big Gumment sciency science! Where’s their FAITH? On a serious note. For anyone over sixty like myself there is a measles antibody test. I was born prior to the vaccine and I could not remember if I ever had the measles. I had the test done and my antibody level was very high. There are also people born between 1963 and 1967 that got the “killed” measles vaccine. They should definitely get the test. Really every adult should check! I’m in my 30s but had my levels checked when I was pregnant years ago and found out I randomly wasn’t protected from measles anymore despite being vaccinated as a kid. Someone should’ve told the measles that they cannot touch pious god-fearing folk cuz reasons. Or maybe the measles just.Didn’t.Care
Some of these people need to take a stroll through an old cemetery. Gravesites from the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this 19th and early 20th century are just rife with young children cut down by disease. Sometimes you’ll see a family plot where two or three children die within days of each other, clearly from disease. There was one I saw a couple years ago where every single child died young, along with the mother. The father lived for decades before eventually being buried with his family. Can you even imagine watching your whole family die? It’s a damned miracle that it took less than a century to make death in childhood and maternity relatively rare, and then you have these fools. The best part is that this undoes all the other previous immunizations so they’ll die of something else totally preventable I really wish every parent would do what’s best for their kids, instead of just whatever fits their ill informed, culture war obsessed political ideology.
I was under the Womens Disney Mickey & Minnie _Little Bro_ Family Trip Vacation Shirt besides I will buy this impression that certain vaccinations were mandatory for kids attending public schools, but I guess that’s no longer the case. I’d be surprised if school nurses are even still a thing. These are the same people who think that kids dying is fine so long as they get to keep their boom-boom sticks “in case a herd of feral pigs attack” That is terrible to hear, from someone that had every childhood disease due to not having the vaccines at that time. Friend went deaf because of measles. But the liberals are bad. Measles is highly contagious, a vaccine exists and has for decades now, and they pull this shit. Puts me in a rage. It is shame children are risk for preventable diseases just because their parents have been misled unreliable sources. Sources that often unqualified in any medical field and rely on research paper that have proven false and withdrawn. Sources that have some financial interest in lying about the safety of modern vaccinations. If these morons studied economics they might discover the “free rider” principle only works when you are in the tiny minority who can free ride on the rest of the population being vaccinated to get away with being unvaccinated. The actual problem was the morons who had to spread this antivax ideology and popularize it which then made free riding impossible for themselves. This is peak LAMF
