I waited until 32 to get married. My best advice is if you do, house wife her. Marriage is a lot less complicated that way. Because, no matter how great you think this person is now, at least 50% of marriages end in divorce. When they do, it’s almost always the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this men who take the financial hit. I thought my fiance was wonderful and we’d always be together. We’re not. She cheated. We bought our house years ago and it’s appreciated like crazy. I worked my ass off for years and denied myself all kinds of fun stuff in when I was im my 20’s to save enough money for a down payment. Now, because of appreciation, my neighborhood is too expensive for me to buy a house in and I have to give her half of the equity in the home because she was a lying cheater and we got divorced. I’m 45. My financial plan was to invest in my house and live here as long as I’m able then sell it and live in a small place off the money from the sale of my house. That’s what my grandma did and she was set until the day she died. Now I have to give half of that money to someone because they cheated and I can’t afford to invest in somewhere new.

On top of that, I trusted my wife with all the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this day to day finances because she has a business management degree and even worked at a bank for quite a while. I thought she knew finance a lot better than me and I totally trusted her so why wouldn’t I? The answer ot that is that she loved to live a lot fancier lifestyle than me and what we could actually afford. Where I thought we had saved a decent little nest egg, there were no savings at all but there were thousands and thoisands of dollars in debt and I’m stick with half of it. All of this was from a woman that my friends and family all thought she was wonderful, would make a great wife, and that I was lucky to have her. You ask what do people who say to never get married plan to do when they get older? The same thing that people who get divorced do but with a lot more money is my answer. I’m an older man. The advice to never get married is absurd in the extreme. Another bit of advice that is absurd is you should get married.
Don’t marry …for any other reason than if you genuinely want to marry someone to be a life partner to that person. Don’t get married, and don’t live with one either. Men can be a lot of work!!! Date, be engaged, have fun. Romance. Enjoy your differences LAT living apart together. It’s an actual thing. It’s more or less a cautionary tale. Be extra vigilant choosing someone to marry. Even if you guys get pregnant. Child support could be a better option than deciding to marry. Y’all are in different stages of development and even if you “click like Lego bricks” with someone at a particular moment in time y’all are still developing and can find yourselves starting to misalign especially when life starts throwing you it’s curve balls. The people who had a shitty marriage will give that advice to everyone, happily married people don’t tell you that you should get married because they’re not obsessed about it.

Could be those guys either have either had very negative experiences of marriage, very powerful ideological hostility to marriage as an institution or were financially ruined by divorce. There are so many people raised by unhappily married couples or who have lost their shirts & nearly all trust in humanity due to blisteringly acrimonious divorce disputes. I’m a 29 year old happily single female who has ruled out both marriage and every living with another adult. Nearly all the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this older married men and younger single heterosexual guys I know have a very positive view of marriage. Keep trying to persuade me to change my stance. statistically they’re correct. 56% of marriages end in divorce, and that’s just ones by force. it doesn’t account for families that stay for the kids or don’t want to lose half their stuff. that’s easily another 10%, maybe even 20%.
Because the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this divorce rate is super high. If you do want to get married, get a prenup, prenups can include ANYTHING including fidelity clauses, and depending on the state SO MUCH MORE, this way you know how it ends before it starts if it ever ends. I think the problem is that many people are in a hurry to get married. Getting married to the wrong person is a real mistake. spend time dating, figure out who who are, what you want your spouse to be. Have an idea of where you want life to go and a general philosophy. We all change over time, but you are setting yourself up to fail if you marry someone without these considerations. Discuss your views on monogamy. Some people cannot handle their spouse admitting they are attracted to other people. Some don’t mind if their spouse sleeps with other people. You don’t have to have an equivalent outlook, but you should have a compatible outlook.
discuss plans for kids. How many. Who is the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this primary caregiver. What that entails. What’s expected of each of you. Never go into it thinking “yeah, she kinda flies off the handle all the time, but I’m sure she’ll change” or “he doesn’t want kids now, but he’ll mellow”. And never stick around because you’ve already sunk too much time into a relationship. It was wasted. Don’t waste more. I mean they at least tell you WHY? If they come from the mindset marriage means you marry to a shit guy who expects you to be a mom to his 5 kids and it’s a promise he’ll cheat, then yeah. But not every marriage requires kids, and if you meet an amazing guy who genuinely makes life better, would they still say this? Context. Never settle and marry for the right reasons and have a healthy loving partnership is how i’d say it
people don’t realise that between 25 and 40 both of you will change. And if you change too far apart you should split ( I was unhappy at the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this end of the first marriage because we had become different people and were not actually compatible anymore – we should have agreed to split earlier ) marriage is not a fairy tale. If you live with another person, you need to work on communication, empathy and generally being good to each other. You have to create those habits early. For me, I see a lot of folks with the wrong person, for where they are in their life today. And I know I am way happier, after 12 years, than I would have been without her – has it always been ‘perfect and easy’ no. But being together is made us both better and both happier. Final stat – men who are not married die younger. So it helps with life expectancy. Although for women it makes no difference.
If you wanna get married just be sure what might come with that, because unless it’s a purely ceremonial marriage a legal marriage is a binding legal contract and can be tricky to undo and cost a lot of money and time and gets even messier with children. That being said it doesn’t hurt to listen to the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this reasons why they don’t recommend it and make your own informed decisions. You should also do what your heart desires and enjoy the life you live. They respect you and REALLY don’t want you to marry the wrong person. It’s annoying but I’m starting to channel my own overbearing auntie when someone’s dusty child wants to play games. Telling myself “You don’t actually wanna be stuck with THAT for the rest of my life?” They don’t or didn’t have a good understanding of themselves and based that their capacity to give and receive were or still are skewed. And that impacted their choice of a partner. Marriage is a beautiful thing when everyone involved understands their needs and have a degree of mature communication. My suggestion would be to take a good look at yourself before partnering with someone.
not with that attitude…married for 6 and known her since the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this last week of high school, ups and downs sure but its all about communication and trust Also getting married young is a recipe for failure. I’d say getting married in your early thirties is the sweet spot. They will stand out because they are suffering and vocal. Normal happy content couples tend to not rant about how normal and content they are. If I was an entirely different person with some positive qualities, I’d probably be married by now. As it is, marriage is so far from being something I want or could be capable of, it’s laughable. And no, I’m not going to meet the right person eventually, because I don’t even bother to try. I already feel old and weak.
Jaded people always think they have it the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this worst, yeah they might not want you to get married because they fucked up and either married wrong or didn’t put the work in to build their marriage. Always remember you will only hear the bad stories because the people with the good ones don’t feel a need to yell it from the roof tops. It you marry someone with whom you can work together, then you can last and it’s great. When difficulties come up, you want it to be a person who is patient, forgiving, honest, flexible. And you have to be the same. It’s funny – all the older men I know who are widowed or divorced, are desperate to find a new wife because they hate being alone. The reasons against it are plenty, and some may be well-founded, mainly because the man is still quite often seen as the main supporter whereas the woman is expected to stay at home and take care of the children (or at least, if either of the parents will stay home, it’s likely to be the mother, not the father), so marriage is designed in such a way that should it fail for whatever reason, the mother won’t be left pennyless despite the efforts she put into it (i.e. take care of the house, the kids etc). The main reasons some people (especially men) advocate against marriage is that regardless of the amount of effort the wife puts into the marriage, in case of divorce, she’s likely to take half of your “fortune” even if you didn’t have kids and she didn’t stay at home (i.e. she had her own income).
Personally, I think that if that’s your main worry when thinking about marriage, you shouldn’t marry in the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this first place (and it’s probably why they’re advising you not to marry either). That’s a different discussion though. As for myself, I’d love to get married, but being with someone for the rest of my life is what matters most. So basically, if she won’t want to get married, we won’t. If she’ll want that, we will. To me marriage is just a certificate for what I already know will be true (at the time), i.e. that I want to spend the rest of my life with her. Whether that happens or not, we’ll see, but I’m the type to go all in, for better or for worse. That’s simple: it’s not mandatory to marry someone when you live together and share your funds and property. And therefore it’s easier for you to break up in case of unmatching. For men I think there are only cons and no real pros of marriage. It has to be jealousy. They cant stand to see young people out being single living their life saving money doing what they want. They want them to be miserable married with kids in a relationship. Im not saying all married people are miserable or jealous im just saying this is what it feels like based on how badly they want everyone to get married and have kids.
As far as I can tell, the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this effective purpose of marriage is to make it more difficult for the unhappy spouse to leave. I know that when we are deeply in love, we feel as though that will never change, we will always be happy, and us and our spouse will always be approximately the same as we are now. I’ve been there, I’ve experienced it. But change is inevitable. And we don’t get to decide or even predict the ways in which we or our spouse will change. If you marry someone who was generous and giving while you were dating, they may just become selfish as time goes on. If you marry someone kind, they may become cruel. If you marry someone beautiful or who puts effort into their appearance, there’s a strong chance that they will both grow less beautiful over time and put less effort in. If you marry someone who you think you have great sexual chemistry with, there’s no guarantee that they won’t one day decide they’re done with sex forever, and therefore, so are you. And those are all just the normal kind of change. There are people who suffer traumatic brain injury and become completely different people, sometimes violent and abusive ones. There are people who suffer from mental illness and can suddenly go into a fugue state and never be seen again. And some people just cave under pressure.
And if this happens to you, anything that makes it harder to leave a relationship — legal marriage, shared finances, shared living space, children, co- owned pets — will become a chain that you must break out of before you can leave. If you’re willing to accept that risk, by all means. But nobody made sure I understood all that before I got married, and I wish they had. Most of the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this people who are happily married don’t go around telling young men “Hey kid, you better get married!”
Have you ever heard of the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this supply chain? If you raise the wages of workers and/or prices of materials at the beginning, the price at the end increases. The same effect occurs at any point of the process. Wages have been going up. Most fast foods pay 15-18$ an hr. But that isn’t all that causes inflation.. supply and demand. You are probably looking at the wrong side of the problem. Our country doesn’t have enough help, and jobs are going begging. You raise wages to attract good help, and to keep them in place. This is one of the main drivers of increased cost in a service economy. Inflation is caused by printing too much money. Corporations figured out during the pandemic that they could raise prices to cover “extra Covid operating expenses” and weren’t supposed to continue to gouge the public. They kept prices pandemic levels and CEOs continue to pocket the profits and keep shareholders happy. Meanwhile, the guy who actually has to BUY stuff at (insert coming here) pays the upcharge.
1.4% of workers make minimum wage. However, in terms of wage growth, the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this lowest earners saw the largest increase to their pay over the last 4 years despite. All of these companies are padding their prices bc of the fear of inflation, not actually bc they have less money bc of higher costs. So essentially, raising prices today, for the most part, are not inflation. They are increasing prices on staple goods bc they know people need them and have to pay, and it won’t impact overall sales. CEOs are still getting raises. The stock market is going up. Don’t believe it for 1 second that these companies are being forced to do this. They could easily rebalance wages without impacting their overall budgets. They just want to take advantage of societal fears.
The way my boss did it: read the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this any headline, point to headline, say: cost increasing because of this, don’t expect year end bonus/that’s why we had to increase price Because inflation is only a part of why the price is going up. The second a company hears the word inflation, they get a massive boner and just raise the price willy nilly, knowing people will blame whoever the president of their country is, even though the president very likely has no ability to control the economy in any way whatsoever. Who says wages aren’t increasing? I make more than ever before now and it nets me less groceries than ever before. The fast food restaurants around me start at $15-$17 an hour, wages are absolutely increasing with inflation, and vice versa.
When I meet people that say the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this minimum wage needs to be low, I tell them that every time I get a raise, I buy more eggs and milk. And some day, I’m going to buy ALL of it. It doesn’t matter that it’s all going to rot without being touched, I’ll be forced to buy it because that’s what happens when the minimum wage goes up. Everybody starts buying WAY more than they need. ALL the eggs. ALL the milk. And ALL the toilet paper. SOon, toilet paper will cost $900 per roll because poor people won’t stop buying so much more than they actually use… It’s a very Republican (and very stupid) argument that a higher minimum wage makes inflation go crazy, because magic! Because Ayn Rand. Because trickle down economics. We now live in an economy where people can’t even buy houses. We can’t buy medical care. We’re living with our parents and shit… and these idiots are worried that we are all getting paid WAAAAY too much. We’re getting paid so much that we’re getting rich and we’re going to buy everything and soon, a gallon of milk will be fifty bucks because we’re just… I don’t know, bathing in it or some shit because that’s what people DO when they start making too much money.
It’s because capitalism as a system is completely nuts. It requires infinite and constant growth hence inflation. It also has a lot to do with greed. The idea that wage increases cause inflation is a particular problem as the Women’s Chase Elliott G III 4Her by Carl Banks Royal Batters Up Shirt besides I will buy this inflation has already happened before the wages increase. Increasing wages in line with inflation just puts people back to where they were before. The problem with this is that everyone will charge whatever they can get away with charging to make the most profit. Increasing wages is like a green flag for things like rent/mortgages etc… and the things you buy. It’s a never ending cycle that’s going to collapse in on itself eventually as it has done many times throughout history which btw is usually fixed by war.
