I would spend the other days in Brussels. In fact you could spend the whole week in Brussels and easily do a full day trip to Bruges. Then, on another of the days, do another day trip to Antwerp & Ghent. I recommend staying at Hilton Brussels Grand Place – I’ve stayed there before and was wonderful. Very close to the train station where I did day trips to other cities- including the ones I mentioned above and a day trip to Luxembourg.
