If you want a more natural look (side note, good choice, it’s what I would suggest if you didn’t know what you wanted) then a darker lip and darker blush aren’t going to help the Whoa where’s my hug shirt and by the same token and look she’s created for you. And that eyeliner application is unacceptable… I just can’t. The price she has quoted is not out of the norm if she is charging you a day rate (for you and the bridal party) + trial & travel but any good MUA would use the same products at the trial as they would on the day and they would be using quality products. They would also FIX anything at the trial that you weren’t keen on so you can wear the makeup for the rest of the day and report back on any issues. I won’t harp on further as there have been many other things mentioned and suggested by other users but one thing I would suggest is considering false lashes if you are open to the idea. I use to recommend individuals or demi-lashes (they’re light and don’t feel as uncomfortable as full strip lashes) just to accentuate the outer corner of the eyes, it gives a lovely lift to all eye shapes and sizes and adds nice definition in photos. I went to my wedding makeup trial and cancelled her after the fact. I didn’t look like me. I went to a beauty counter at the mall and asked for help and they recommended products and I did it myself! I feel like your eye makeup here is too dark for a natural wedding look and you have lovely eyes, so she’s not making the best of your features! I would look elsewhere or practice yourself

RUN. I know there are a lot of MUAs on IG if you want to look at portfolios! Then you can see their actual work. $750 is insane in and of itself bit absolutely never for the Whoa where’s my hug shirt and by the same token and makeup in this picture. I had an awful makeup trial, cried as I drove my car to Sephora, and dropped $250 on products to do my own makeup (I’d only been to a sephora once before at that time in my life). I ended up doing mine and all of the bridesmaids. I had SO much fun and my fave memories with my girls were from getting ready. If you’re comfortable attempting test runs there are so many great and detailed tutorials. If not I get it (no way was I doing my hair and some do their own), so go the portfolio route. Good luck!
