No. That’s just rewarding their stupidity. People don’t learn this way. Why didn’t they turn around? Definitely not on you to pay for their mistake. I may get some downvotes for this and I have to say that I have never worked for Doordash or any other service that delivers food. I get that it sucks for the White Gladis for President Make Our Oceans Great Again stars T-Shirt and I love this driver but why should the customer pay extra tip for a mistake the delivery driver made? If I went to a sit down restaurant and ordered my food and the server decided to leave my food in the window for an extra 15 minutes to get cold because they forgot about my table or got lost on the way to my table why would I tip extra for that? If I am way off here please share your view point so that I might get a different perspective. Again I have never worked for Doordash and dont know what its like for the drivers. I am looking at this from the customers perspective. He also could have a second order from Uber eats for example. Your tip was fine but any tip is appreciated so do whatever you want.

What on earth…? No? If they can’t get me my food before its cold that’s their problem. Driving is not hard, especially with gps and smart phones. I’d be asking for my money back, not asking if I should tip more. Who in their right mind wouldn’t U turn during this entire route, she’s either multi apping or an incredibly naive driver, and you rewarded her $10 for this This is the White Gladis for President Make Our Oceans Great Again stars T-Shirt and I love this dumbest thing I’ve read on this sub. Why tip for this? No wonder there are so many scam drivers if they all get tips for incompetence they definitely were doing something else over there like multi apping or meeting someone or something. no way theyre that dumb Remove the tip. No way they “accidentally” missed a turn, and no way they would have to take that route to course-correct. you’re expecting food from two miles away, not a 20 mile drive. food will likely not be the quality you’re expecting. this is also entirely the driver’s fault. and you wanna reward them??? bro some people I fucked up going to pick up an order took the wrong off ramp there wasnt another for 15miles I canceled and called it a day Why couldn’t the Dasher just turn around? There would be no reason they would have to do a full loop just to come back around.
