I work in HVAC and we have one guy who takes forever to install boilers. He refuses to use press fittings, and has to triple check that every pipe is the We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this exact right length and perfectly level. It sucks working with him, but damn, everything he installs looks absolutely immaculate. I recently had to hire an HVAC guy to replace the blower motor and change out the computer controller thing for my busted A/C. I swear to god, this repair guy was a character straight out of a Coen brothers film. He methodically took each tool out of his van and carefully put them (in whatever order seemed logical to him) onto a towel he folded in front of my outside A/C blower thing. He mutely smoked an unfiltered cigarette the whole time he was outside, and it seemed like he never even fucking paused to think about whatever he was doing while he was fixing the A/C. It was eerily like watching a seasoned hitman dispassionately pulling sniper rifle components out of a suitcase and assembling it. Strangely memorable experience.

I like how in the We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this OP the tremmie pipe is fitted to the marzle vein such that side tumbling is effectively prevented. I miss that sub. My wife made me unsubscribe after the incident with my prototype static hydrolinoleum engine. As a very meticulous person who also has a boiler system, can I get that guys number to fix some of my stuff? I work at a body shop and we have a painter like this. Slow, bit difficult to work with on the admin side, but god damn we almost never have to bring something back to him for any defect in his paintwork. I had a guy do some work at the house a couple months ago. Cost me $6k but my lord did he take his time and do a fantastic job on it. Worth the extra money I spent for his quality. I wish my facilities guy was half as good as this. I always feel the need to subtly double-check his work to make sure he doesnt get anyone killed. But i cant fire him because he doesnt technically work for my department, just in my building. Lets just say, he has been responsible for more than a couple of flooding incidents. And his work is best described as… occasionally functional. Its not a facility guys job to do this its a plumbers maybe you should know that before calling for peoples jobs

We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt: best trending this year

Eh, it very much depends. Plenty of facilities departments have in house plumbers who would be working on or repairing a set up like this but you’re absolutely right, they wouldn’t be doing a system install. It’s not even a plumbers job, it’s an HVAC installer’s. A lot of plumbers do good work, but there are so many rush jobs and half-assed piping, clearly whoever installed them never had to work on the We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this units. lol right! especially in a whole other department! i should call your boss and get you fired for not staying in your department, but im not a karen… This is a primary-secondary flow system. There is a primary water loop that continuously circulates water through the boiler (bottom pump)

Secondary Loop 1 (upper left) is mixing the We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this return water with supply (mid left valve with gauge); likely for radiant flooring which requires a lower water temperature. Secondary Loop 2 (mid right) is pulling water from the primary loop as needed, at a higher temperature than loop 1. This would be for radiators or fin-tube heating elements that need a higher water temperature. Ball valves (everywhere) is a best practice. You will have to service different components be it the pumps, control valves, or radiant fixtures. This makes it easy to fix a pump without draining the entire system, which costs time and money to refill. You should crosspost this to r/cableporn, they appreciate this kind of work, even if it’s piping and not cables.

Description for We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt

Respect. I never did get good enough at water systems to eyeball and explain that shit without access to and a few minutes to review a submittal. My own explaination would’ve stopped at “there’s two heating loops and who the We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this fuck zip tied our control wire to one?” Haha. Ugh, the more I look at it the more free hanging controls wiring bothers me. There’s already so much great looking flex! Just run one more piece along the ceiling ffs! What are the benefits of using copper over pex (plastic) or whatever else? I look at this and my first thought is ‘ladida, look at this rich person with new copper’. But for all I know there are meaningful benefits Generally copper can last much longer. Personally it makes sense to use in the mechanical room to make service easier. Ball valves work better, pumps may require it based on which manufacturer you use, if you pull something out you know the pipes will be where you left them. I am not a plumber, but have a system similar to this in our home. It was explained to me that PEX is for delivering water, copper and other metals are for valves and fixtures that manipulate water. Copper is less susceptible to changes in pressure, so it makes more sense in an interchange like what’s pictured. Copper also has a higher temperature limit of 400F, while PEX tops out at 180F. An important factor when a boiler is involved. My dad’s a plumber and its absolutely fucking absurd how often people delay paying him by months. At any given time he probably has multiple people owing him for jobs he did >3 months prior.
In any other field, you dont avail of a service before you can pay for it, let alone months in advance. But just because it’s plumbing its like people dont care or value it the We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this same. Uh, plumber here. This isn’t normal. They owe because he lets them owe. VERY rarely have I ever left a job unpaid. If I remember correctly, one of the only times I haven’t been able to collect on a job upon completion is because the customer died. Hey random question. What’s a reasonable price to change out a shower cartridge on a run of the mill moen singlr shower valve thing? I’m no plumber or even that handy but I youtube it and did it all by myself in 20 mins. Look up someone youtube videos it’s pretty simple. Oh no, I did it myself as well. A plumber was going to charge me $300 (that’s with a $100 discount). I was like screw that. I just did it myself. That’s about what we’d charge. 225 an hour plus parts. And depending on the cartridge you’d be looking at about a $300+ total. But if you’re not confident you can do it properly, please call a professional. I cannot tell you the amount of times we’ve been called to clean up after a DIYer or someone’s “buddy who can do it cheaper.”
I work in HVAC and trust me all the We’re Not Going Back Kamala Harris 2024 T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this plumbers and HVAC techs constantly break shit but we are just able to always fix it before somebody notices. I miss having a house heated by water instead of a furnace. Also never runs out of hot water no matter how many people wanna shower This is what r/oddlysatisfying started out like. Stuff like this. Cable managed servers. Super organized nice things. I approve, I sometimes get to layout pipes (for systems a little larger diameter) and a clean, thought out arrangement is so nice That’s how it should look every time. At least the copper should, looks like controls free wired a bunch of shit instead of having an installer run flex or conduit like they should’ve but that’s on whatever PM was involved not the controls tech. My BiL is a plumber and does work like this. The inspector who came to look over the furnace he put in for me said it was the cleanest job he’s ever seen. BiL was 24 at the time. For a start, why so many shut off valves? You shut off the start of the fucking circuit with one valve and do what you need to do lol. You don’t need a valve at the start and end point of every point on the circuit lol. The pump for example has two valves, one on each side. Wtf is the purpose of that? Then all that links into a regular ass boiler…. Its not even industrial. I can’t really think of a single situation where this would be the best way to do anything lol.
