Slowly but surely, you will see relief as you cultivate these as new habits, practicing one area at a time until it becomes easy, automatic, second nature. As you see improvements, after some time, I suggest a practice of giving: it can be volunteering for a cause you care for, at a local community, or a simple practice of sharing your time, skills, resources more than is strictly necessary. Learn to regulate your brain chemistry with exercise, meditation, herbs, food, and sleep. It’s not that difficult. Dm for tips anytime. I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling. I would definitely talk to your doctor about maybe switching meds or changing dosage. I was on an antidepressant a couple of years ago, and I had some similar apathy when on it and I ended up stopping it. Funnily enough, I’m back on that med now for anxiety, and am giving it another shot because I feel like I need it right now. But your body changes constantly. Do your best to listen to it and work with your doctor in finding what’s best for you. I hope you feel better! So the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this other day I posted about how my concealer has been turning grey under my eyes near the bottom of where it’s applied. I discovered by testing it today that I’m pretty sure that the grey color in my concealer was from my bronzer mixing with my concealer??
Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt details
Idk if that’s really the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this reason why because I’ve never seen anyone else say that bronzer mixes with their concealer but I think it’s the reason why. I guess it makes sense because I only ever use cream bronzers, not powder ones, so liquidy/creamy products might mix easily like that. But I’m wondering how I stop this. I’ve tried doing concealer before bronzer and also tried bronzer before concealer to see if order would change it, but it didn’t. I’ve tried setting it/ baking with powder and stuff too before applying one product over the other but grey lines always appear where the concealer and bronzer meet. Other than that just make sure the bronzer is blended seamlessly before moving onto concealer or vice versa so you can combat it from turning grey
I don’t know about the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this bronzer, but some concealers get super grey in me. I have light skin and have very purple under eyes so if I use a concealer one shade less than my skin (to brighten) and use no color corrector, the concealer literally looks grey. To avoid this I have to color correct and apply a concealer of my exact shade. If I do it like that I don’t have any problems. Which concealer are you using? I was trying out new concealers recently and found that the thinner, more watery concealers tended to go gray on me because they were mixing with other things (mainly eyeshadow fallout in my case). Maybe try a concealer that has a thicker consistency? If you have undereye darkness and are using a concealer in a brightening shade without color correcting, it can sometimes make things look really grey under the eyes. However, I don’t think this would look like products mixing together, so I’m not sure if that’s what’s really going on here. Does it look like there’s a clear line of demarcation where the products overlap? I dont have very good photos but I don’t think I’m able to post any here? Also I had to look up “demarcation” so hopefully I understand it correctly lol but yes I think I can see where the concealer and bronzer overlap and that’s where I think it begins turning grey, and the concealer looks like it is separating at that point too. The rest of my concealer will look fine but then looks weird right at the greyness. I thought at first that it’s from dark circles but today when I did my makeup a bit differently the grey lines were not even at just the dark circle area and extended up higher on my cheek beyond my eyes which is what makes me think it’s from them blending.

Also when I wore concealer months ago (using the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this same concealer) I never saw it turn grey ever. I had used a bronzer back then that I don’t use now but I’ve tried different bronzers lately (and different conceakers) and have been having this problem with each one so idk what’s happening Haha sorry for the confusion with my choice of words. I believe you are allowed to post Imgur links on this sub if you want to post a photo. No worries if you don’t want to post a pic. Honestly from what you’re describing, that sounds really bizarre and I can’t say I’ve ever experienced anything like that. Which bronzer are you using? No worries and idk how to do that with photos so I guess I won’t post any. Right now the main bronzer I’ve been using is just a cheap one by Essence because I like the color of it the most but I’ve tried one by Milk and just bought and tried a Makeup by Mario one, and I’ve also tried some contour sticks I can’t remember which, and I’ve also tried the Born This Way concealer and Haus Labs concealer but still experience it with all.
Everything I find online says it’s from a dark undereye type of thing and to color correct but mine isn’t the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this whole area under my eye, it’ll just be like a grey line going across so idk I just put photos of it up on my actual Reddit page. It’s very hard to see in those bc I haven’t actually taken any photos specifically where u can tell the line is there. Those are just photos I was able to get for now Idk why it’s nsfw I don’t know how to turn that offSalary doubled in the space of a year. I’m in a DINK household with no dependents or real responsibilities. I think about this a lot. People say ‘money doesn’t buy you happiness’ but it buys you peace of mind. For the big stuff like oh-shit-this-appliance-has-broken, sure. But also in a million tiny ways. Like I remember when I was 21 and realising my last pair of tights had a rip, and I had to put nail varnish on top to stop it getting worse and go to work with ripped tights because I did not have £7 to buy another three pack until payday. Now I would buy a new pair of tights without thinking about it. Shampoo runs out, go get another bottle without thinking about it. Feeling cold, put the heating on for an hour. Phone charger broke, just pick up another one. That movie looks good, go see it tonight. The 10 little annoyances you experience every day can be paid to go away, which makes dealing with life’s bigger things much easier. It immeasurably changes your mental health and I think that’s something people who have always been wealthy do not understand.
As salary went up work became more intensive (working through lunch, late night calls etc.), so whereas previously I couldn’t really afford takeaways more than once a month, it became something I was doing 3-5x a week. I realised this was a ludicrous amount to spend (when it was only a few years ago I had to stretch £25 on a weekly shop, but would now drop that on Tuesday lunch without thinking), and that just because I could doesn’t mean I should. Got more organised with meal prep + cheap supermarket freezer meals but still working off the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this weight from my Summer of Uber Eats lol. I love buying drinks for my mates. I couldn’t do it a few years ago but really enjoy being the person who sneaks up with a bottle of prosecco on a night out.
If someone posts a GoFundMe on IG, I donate automatically. Buy the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this Big Issue whenever the lady is outside of Sainsbury’s. Upped my charitable direct debits. Day to day I’m still quite frugal in terms of living expenses. My nights out, leisure activities etc haven’t changed. I workout at home + run in local park. Same phone + same contract. I upgraded some essentials like socks, jumpers and shoes but still mainly wear the ASOS/Zara stuff I’ve had for 10 years. But when I’m on holiday? There is no budget. Nicest accommodation, beautiful restaurants, best excursions, and no question as to whether we’re getting another drink. For two weeks a year I act like a millionaire, and it is heaven. I’ve been poor and I’m now doing pretty well (engineering lead in big tech, so… People are surprised I’m not a millionaire but I’m definitely doing okay). Anyone who says you can’t buy happiness is trying to distract you. It won’t literally make you happy by itself but damn it’s easier to be happy with money
I agree with everything that you’re saying and adding a few bits that I consider huge improvements in quality of life: investing in a few pairs of ultra comfortable and durable pairs of shoes like Vivobarefoot. Not that I couldn’t afford those before but it feels better when knowing I don’t have to worry about money more savings to invest and build wealth or start a business. I started a business with 0 knowledge 2 years ago and lots of lessons learned after I drained my savings. being in a better position to help my parents financially. Anyone with parents in a different country will understand this. All in all, money offers incredible peace of mind and frees up mental stress so you can focus on the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this things that really, really matter in life: freedom, stability, experiences. I have very few items of clothing, I couldn’t give a flying fuck about purses, fashion, expensive jewelry or impressing anyone. Happiness comes from sharing experiences with the people you love and being able to quickly pivot and adapt when times change. Yesss this is the thing that makes me saddest about living on a shoestring — I don’t see the people I love nearly as often as I would if I didn’t worry about the costs of travelling to see them. This breaks my heart as I know I can’t get time back. Omg reading this thinking this is me. Having to walk 3 mile to work because I didn’t have £1.50 for the bus fair and my 2nd hand 30 quid bike had broken. Now I can just get an Uber. Instead of making my £.2.50 worth of nectar points stretch a week (oats, rice, frozen spinach and one pound bag of frozen chicken burgers) and shoplifting flapjacks (calorific and easy to put up your sleeve). Now, fancy a steak for dinner, I can buy it.
Love the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this buying drinks for mates too. I now do this all of the time because it was so horrible being the charity case or declining rounds. And yep still frugal on other things, pay a tenner a month for my SIM only contract and still wear the same Zara stuff I’ve had for years! I will say that eating out through Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat etc gets a bad rep. Yes there are many takeaways and fast food options on there, but there are plenty of heathy options and proper restaurants on there too, especially in a place like London. Like you too, I’m working into all hours of the night most days now, so I often don’t have the time to prepare a meal, so I just order something online 3-4x a week as it’s much easier and healthier for me.
The vast majority of options on food delivery apps are not healthy though. Most restaurant food has way higher salt/sugar/fat content than most home cooked food. A regular cleaner was one of the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this first things I noticed. My new job came with more hours so having a cleaner is a godsend. But the main thing, which may be lifestyle creep or it may not, is that I just don’t think about spend below a certain amount. It’s less the big ticket items, and more a collection of small ticket items that you stop paying attention to. Similar for me. For example, where before I might have reined in how often I bought lunch out when in the office, now it’s much more of “an extra £10 this week isn’t the end of the world”
Yes anything under £5 with your card feels like not spending. But then you realised you spent a few hundred quid across the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this month on those small amounts. Exactly this. I used to collect various Clubcard points and make sure I was always paying the best price. Quidco was great. Now when I pop to the supermarket I just buy what I want. I barely glance at the price. I forget to scan my Clubcard (changing now they are charging more for not using it). Growing up without much money makes that seem insane, but I usually just want to get home and eat whatever I feel like. For me the biggest changes were to do with time and effort rather than actually buying stuff. So, I started using a laundry service rather than do my own; get stuff delivered rather than go shopping; get in regular cleaners to keep the place nice; get taxis rather than drive myself or use public transport. Basically, I used the extra income to buy time, giving me the freedom to spend more time on doing things I like. I dont think I have actually bought any things (TVs, furniture, clothes, gadgets etc) since I am not that into possessions. We aren’t super high earning or anything but same theme, buy time to peace out more from hectic jobs. We start hiring folks to do daily chor a like cleaning, cooking, ironing etc. it costs 15/hr and we spend an estimated a total 90-100/week across these services combined but those extra hour a day (probably more as we are slower than professionals) we get back is extremely helpful We have an Indian cook ( we are Indians) come home and cook meals. We decide the menu and get groceries and stuff. She charges 15/hr and can make 2/3 meals for 2 folks in an hour. We usually call her a couple times a week and cook the other meals.
Exactly this. If the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this time it takes for me to do something is worth less then my pay’s worth per hour then I will be happy to pay someone to do it. One con tho… I used to get excited saving up to buy something I want. I’m lucky enough now to pretty much just get whatever I want (within reasons) and that kind of makes it less special. And I’m a nightmare to buy for birthday or anniversary etc as everyone knows I have everything I want so any “gifts” for me just turns into donation for charities instead. Same here. I still don’t buy anything special, but I pay a lot for taxis and deliveries because it means I can do more with my day. I cut down on work for a bit though and I honestly preferred cycling everywhere, just takes ages! I haven’t upped my daily expenses much, I’ve increased savings massively and was able to buy a flat in an area which I actually liked.
Holidays are something I don’t think I’ll ever regret spending money on. It’s ultimately one of my biggest expenses. I’m looking to visit a couple of new countries this year. Well I think that’s the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this issue hahah it was once in a life time… Now it’s like oh what big holiday are we doing this year haha The absolute worst bit about having kids is how expensive holidays become. I absolutely loved going away and I’m not someone that wants uber luxury, but having a chronic condition means I want a level of comfort in where I’m staying and I love a spa. Travelling with 2 kids in school holidays (one with autism) is exhausting and expensive. I pick the trip I’d like, see the price and have a reality check/serious talk with myself and then have to scale it back and back to the point where I’ve gone off the idea entirely/it’s a stupid amount of money to spend on a trip you don’t really want to go on. I wish I loved a caravan holiday or a cheap self catering number but I want a bit of time off from the drudgery of every day life!
Went from renting a room at 750 to a studio at 1150. Then to a flat at 1650. This was the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this luxury I needed and wanted. Sorry that was 4 years ago and became 1750 soon after, then 1500 during the pandemic (I overheard during views). I assume it’s 1950 these days (some times I spy on Zoopla) How? Unless you think London is exclusively Zone 1, you can quite easily get a one-bedroom flat for less than £2k a month and still be 10-15 minutes away from Central via train (like with the Lizzie in West London). I doubled my wage moving to a new job a couple of years ago. I’m not on six figures but it’s close. Largely I have kept a lid on lifestyle creep because I put a very large portion of it into my pension, I set up standing orders on my first pay packet to put most of the extra into savings and investments, and I don’t generally have expensive tastes anyway.
I have noticed that I don’t agonise over purchases in the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this same way I used to. I still look to save money on things and not pay over the odds, but if an event or new game or something is £20-30 I can justify it much more easily as a new experience that’ll be worth the outlay. I also have noticed I’m indulging my urge to gamble a lot more because I know it is coming from my disposable income, to the point I’ve recognised it’s probably a little problematic and I’ve deleted a bunch of accounts. I don’t think that would have started if I didn’t both have the spare cash and was in a better headspace – the new job unfortunately did come with a lot of stress that has affected my mood. I think the other thing that has helped is that I know that this wage is likely not going to be long term, which drives putting a lot of it into savings. I would be very surprised in my field to be earning as much after I leave this role, even with my level of experience and expertise. One last thing that I haven’t yet done is moved house. I could probably get a mortgage on a 3-bed in the south east rather than the 1-bed flat I have now. That may be in the cards in the near future and be the most significant change – and especially would be an issue making work if I were to move to a job making less.
24k-37k – I started to take care of myself properly, regularly washing/styling my hair and doing skincare, eating proper meals with fruit, veg and protein every day. Started drinking and smoking less ironically. Probably because for once I could actually stop and take care of myself, not just rush from one thing to the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this next on just ramen noodles and coffee. Bought myself a diffuser and some essential oils. Just made my home a bit of a nicer place to be, before it had been just a hostel to me Honestly well done you on that, just wanted to say this I’ve not doubled or increased my income but have been thinking about whether I should switch jobs in the next year given I’m fairly underpaid atm.
Living – you live in nicer / bigger place that cost more, which also lead to higher council tax, gas electric etc, but you cannot really avoid this if you want to live in nicer place Personal spending – just buy more toys etc, it is hard not to buy more fun stuff when you are earning more, you need to reward yourself. High street chains + the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this odd fancy splurge TO Michelin star restaurants + the odd high street chain when we can’t be bothered dressing up The trick to avoiding lifestyle creep is to set up a direct debit to your savings every time you get paid, preferably something outside your bank account like a Vanguard fund so getting the money out for an impulse purchase feels like a hassle.
If you let the Welcome To Rockville 2025 Sharkbite Daytona International Speedway Daytona Beach Florida shirt Apart from…,I will love this money linger around it is hard to avoid lifestyle creep. It’s not even big purchases – often just going out a bit more, choosing nicer places, buying more trinkets here and there or going on more vacations. Before you know it you’re back where you started. Isn’t Starbucks already pretty expensive? And Gail’s isn’t crazy expensive or good iirc. I feel like this a lateral move lol. The real upwards mobility would be going from shared Pret subscription to one of those really expensive indie ones like % Arabica. Net pay exceeded 110k because of a big bonus. Donated 10K to a few small charities, costing me only 4K (cos of the crazy tax rules). Felt good, recommended The whole time vs cost weigh up is completely different now, eg walk/bus for an hour+ when a cab is <30 mins is out of the question now, even if it’s pricey. I care more about travelling at a convenient time, and quickly, than getting a bargain train ticket, for example. Otherwise as others have said, we shop Ocado not Aldi, go out for dinner when we fancy rather than when we can afford! Quant finance / algorithmic trading for a hedge fund. It’s a pretty crazy jump up in salary especially given they mainly recruit fresh from uni! If you had an undergrad in maths/physics/engineering then yes, but I don’t pretend it’s a “normal” job by any means
