Have not tried Pilates mainly because I’m cheap and didn’t want to pay extra for classes (the We Remember and Honor Them All, USA Military Veterans Us FlagT-Shirt Also,I will get this classes that I tried were included with a former gym membership). I am looking at a gym that offers Pilates barre, so I may give that a try. Thanks for the suggestion! Some places do trials for a discount price, maybe you could look for something like that to give it a go? I hope you find something you enjoy or can at least tolerate! Barre would be fun, I’ve only ever done online barre video classes but enjoyed them. I got tickets to see Taylor Swift in Boston. I want to wear something special, don’t mind a splurge purchase. But I want to be able to re wear it and enjoy it. I’ve been eyeing the Selkie dresses but I’m afraid they’ll be too cold and maybe too dressy for re wear? Im more of a casual/classic dresser. Any thoughts or suggestions from FFA? May/may not get a new job title at work (to reflect work I’m already doing!). My manager and I are a department of two and we’ve been working reliably but off of management’s radar for a long time, so it’s nice that maybe my grandmanager is starting recognize how much value we bring.

I am not sure if this is ok to post here but it does say I can scream into the We Remember and Honor Them All, USA Military Veterans Us FlagT-Shirt Also,I will get this void and vent, so sorry for putting this on everyone. Hi, I am a 23 year old female and I wasn’t sure where else to turn, I feel like I will be judged in therapy for this and my other family also has a lot to deal with as well. I am a college student and my mom works full time and I help care for my grandmother but I need some advice. A couple of months ago I was in a dark pit of depression, I had put too much stress on myself and so I withdrew from school because I had nearly reached my breaking point and in my situation I can’t afford that. I am stuck, I can’t leave my family because I don’t trust my grandmother not to get physical with my mother so I need to be there for her and I won’t move on that aspect. But my grandmothers personality and the feeling I get from her is horrible. She enjoys gaslighting me because I can see the triumph in her eyes when she tries to pull on over me, she enjoys guilting me and wrecking both my moms and my own self esteem because she gets pleasure out of it. She likes to rant and say racist and homophobic things, only to say that she isn’t because she has one lesbian friend and married a Chinese man I don’t think it quite works like that but please correct me if I am wrong. To me she feels like a pit of evil whose tentacles reach out to everyone around her and try to put them through as much emotional pain as possible. But I can’t go through that again, where I was a few months ago. The feeling of depression and desperation, trying new activities such as listening to music and reading to cope with the vitriol she spits out and the emotional and mental pain, I found my breaking point and I never want to be there again. My aunt and uncle live about 30 minutes away and used to have her over at their house for the weekend, but something must have happened the last time she stayed there because she is no longer invited there and the only time, she is allowed to go over is if we come and we stay with them, and only for a couple of hours at the most. I can’t talk to my mother when my grandmother is in the area as conversation between the two of us is unwelcome. When spending time with all three of us we either need to only talk to her or not talk at all. She needs attention to be on her at all times, to be the fanciest person, the loudest person, the funniest person etc. If she doesn’t get that she will have literal temper tantrums and slam things around the house. The thing is she wasn’t always like this, she used to be a nice person a funny person, someone who loved us and who liked to tell stories about her travels and the art she created. But the dementia took over and while I get small peeks of who she used to be I don’t really see that side of her anymore except for when we go out and see people. I can’t leave but I feel trapped, my friends haven’t talked to me in years, and I haven’t gone out to in-person school since before the pandemic. None of my classes have been synchronous so I haven’t really been able to talk to my peers.
