But apple’s umbrella is absolutely massive. They have a ton of software developers and the like that could theoretically be 90-100% remote workers. They are just stuck in the past and feeling the hurt of their wallet on the multi million dollar office spaces they built but didn’t need If Overlord Zuck has his way you may soon work from home with all of the in office drawbacks nearly fully intact, thanks to “metaworld”. Honestly as much as I’m a fan of remote work and as an engineering manager looking to hire am thrilled with these FANGs like Apple that are too set in their ways to modernize. I have to say this letter comes off a bit extreme imo if they intend for anyone in Apple executive leadership to take them seriously.
