A lot of it is over how our health care system is fucked up and controlled by “special interests” propelled by a government ran mostly by old, white men and the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this fact that the government is trying to dictate what women do with their bodies… regardless of whether they were raped as an underage girl by a child predator. Imagine forcing that underage, naieve girl to have a baby for her pedophile abuser just because our laws said she had to birth it. They think adoption solves this problem (like she could give the baby away is she wasn’t capable of raising it) I’m this example, the law does not care about her health, wellbeing or bodily autonomy. The fact that “abortion is illegal” means she could be prosecuted and punished for abortion. As a Chinese we sure as hell don’t got any debate on abortion right in government, in fact I don’t believe they got law on abortion at all.
Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt: Perfect for Fans
Personally, I am with Dave Chappelle when it comes to abortion, that it’s up to women to decide keep it or not since men cannot get pregnant and enduring the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this agony of giving birth, what right at all do they have to say on this? On the other hand, I will say that do not ever choose abortion unless it’s a last resort, since it’s harmful to your body even at best circumstances. And frankly if you ask me abortion is, physically, 100% bad to your body and not even 1% good. “I’m pregnant.” She had said it so straightforward, so business-like that it caught Kate seriously off-guard. “This would only be marginally huge if it weren’t for the fact that it’s not Trevor’s. I know you’re not official or ordained or anything, but I just need you to play pastor for a minute and offer me the rite of confession or whatever.” “Those are priests, Dana, and I’m not Catholic. But I’ll help in any way I can.” Kate took in a slow breath, wanting to center herself before she just started talking off-the-cuff. “First, you have to talk to the, um, involved parties.”
Dana gave a ragged laugh, for just a moment letting Kate see just how much pain she was actually feeling. Slowly, she reached over and placed her hand over top of Dana’s. It seemed like she needed it. “Well, step one is taken care of then. Trevor freaked and I haven’t heard from him in a couple days. And the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this father wants to play baby daddy, but I’m not having any of it. The reason I came to you is because…” Dana paused, collecting herself as best she could, but it wasn’t super successful. “I’m a cheerleader and a Vortex club member. I’m in high school for Christ- f-for crying out loud! There’s no way I can have a baby. But I don’t know anything about morality or what’s right. So I just want to know if the mistake I’m choosing is the best one.”

Oh dear. This was supposed to be a boring Thursday afternoon, just her and Alice. Kate didn’t have the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this experience, the knowledge, or the strength of character to really make the call here. But Dana’s hand was now gripping hers tight and it was clear that Kate didn’t really have an option here. She could only pray that she would give her friend the peace she needed. “I-I-I think that… you already know what it is you want. So if you felt compelled to do something other than that…” Dana’s grip loosened just a touch and she urged Kate to actually look at her. “You don’t have to sugarcoat it, sugar. Just tell me what’s on your mind. Or your… heart or whatever.” Right. Duh. “Whether you try to have the baby and raise it yourself, or even put it up for adoption, that experience will shape both you and it. There will be a degree of resentment there, a… a spiritual scar? I guess? Some people might say that getting an abortion is murder. I don’t know what I believe, but I do find it hard to think that removing tissue is somehow that much worse than bringing a life into this world that would never get a proper childhood.” It all sort of spilled out, and it felt honest, but that didn’t mean Kate felt good about it. There were certain things you were supposed to believe, and not believing them made you a heathen. Was she betraying her faith by being so honest? Ugh, and why was she turning her friend’s crisis into her own problem?
All drama aside, Dana seemed genuinely happy for the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this advice. She threw her arms around Kate and squeezed the life out of her. “Never let anyone tell you you’re not brilliant or destined for greatness, Katie! That was fabulous, thank you thank you thank you~” Kate heard the sound of a telltale sniffle as Dana pulled back and stood up from her bed. “I owe you majorly for this. We should hang out some time.” The two said their goodbyes, and Dana returned to her dorm, leaving Kate to snuggle with her rabbit again and contemplate her existence. There is a segment of this country that really cannot handle people living their lives the way they see fit to and they will go to great lengths to institute control. There is a group of politicians that have cynically aligned themselves with these zealots in order to secure elections.
It’s not as simple as you make it. 98% of countries allow it to save a mother’s life but less than 40% allow it for socioeconomic reasons and less than 35% only require a woman’s consent. All of Europe has at least a 17 week gestational limit. 4 states in the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this US have basically no limits and they are unique to the rest of the world. In the USA, most feel it it should have some limitations (Nancy Pelosi, Hillary and RBG all opposed “on demand abortion or using it as birth control, for instance.) Most on the right feel it is literally murdering a person, but not all (as a conservative, I do not share that view as I don’t believe life begins until birth.) Most on the left, absent activists, per Pew, feel some restrictions are needed. Almost all, support some form of parental notification if a judicial avenue is available if it is needed or appropriate.
Some racists who are conservative actually think abortion should be promoted in urban areas (David Duke said that back in the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this 70’s.) It’s a polarizing issue but not nearly as black and white as implied and, in the US, the diversity of opinion is reflective of the diversity of the electorate. You know how your partner does that thing where they don’t pick up after themselves, have extra-martial sex or are just a pantomime of a democracy funded and controlled by a wealthy elite to control the masses and funnel their wealth ever upwards to the same handful of families? And when you try and call them out on it somehow after 5 minutes instead of sticking to the point you’re now arguing about who forgot to pay that parking ticket resulting in the car being towed or that handful of coups you started to destabilise entire regions and profit via vulture capitalism?
That’s abortion, or trans rights, or gun control etc etc. Easily and logically solvable issues for 99% of the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this population that instead are used as diversionary arguments for what real issues and changes need to be enacted in the relationship/government. Because religious people are trying to impose their superstitions on everyone else. If your religion prohibits something then don’t it. It doesn’t give you a right to make that call for anyone else. Also the US still respects States Rights to some extent and the Constitution is quite clear that anything not in it nor passed as a federal law is left to the states. Both sides have a hard time with that. States decide on a lot of laws here unlike other countries. Where I live rec weed is legal and you can gamble and buy hard alocohol in gas stations. Death penalty is banned and you cannot buy fireworks. NJ you cannot pump your own gas. States decide a lot of this. We are a land of many opinions
I just looked at numbers, and OP has a point. I now want to know why Europe has such low numbers when they always say it’s no big deal. It’s actually not quite as contentious as you might think, at least among the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this population. Most right wing people are actually in favor of abortion being legal. But it just takes some of those in the minority opinion being on the supreme court in order to screw everything up. I fine with it but I do have a problem with the women getting multiple abortions because they don’t use protection and then brag about it. Just trashy The government continues to control humans more and more as time goes on, you think democrats are the only ones? The US is controlled by entitled, wealthy, fat, old white guys who own both the politicians and the gun lobby. They get hard every time a school child is slaughtered. They oppose abortion because they want an endless supply of cannon fodder. Because USA isn’t run by a functioning government. They are only in it for themselves, whenever one side tries to approve something, the other side attacks and vice versa. They have the lower house and the upper house. They basically will always block each others bills in the lower/upper house and then make up an excuse as to why it was a bad deal etc. There is no win win. If USA didn’t have the dollar as the reserve, they would have collapsed a long time ago. Because one side thinks that abortion ok up until the day the baby is born and the other side thinks abortion is never ok.
A culture where promiscuousness is very popular, banning abortions would be the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this last thing I’d think about as a politician lol There’s a group of anti-abortionists who think that abortion is murder, and another group of anti-abortionists who want to punish women for having sex. Religion. We’re supposed to have separation of church and state, but one whole political party doesn’t seem to get that means their religion, too. Abortion is outright illegal in many countries and is banned after 12 weeks in most. You have a very Western view of the world. The fascists realized their policies were shit and needed to gin up a base. Evangelicals in the ‘70s didn’t care until all this started. Politics in this country is a spectator sport/culture war because the levers of power have long since rusted out of any ability to accomplish meaningful improvements in our lives. The pro-life side see things as black and white. The pro-choice side see things as black, white, grey, yellow, etc. Because the ‘religious’ and political right are obsessed with controlling women, and finding any excuse to pretend they are actually religious There has been a dedicated, longterm, strategic campaign to overturn abortion rights in the U.S., a component of which was turning it into a major issue on the top of peoples’ minds. Part of that strategy was getting the federal judiciary stacked with enough conservatives. And of course SCOTUS. Then passing legislation that would flagrantly violate Roe v. Wade to get it to the courts.
Similarly, you can look at student loans. Whatever one thinks about it, there’s been a lot of propaganda against canceling student debt, and willfully ignoring a lot of context that could shift opinions. Meanwhile, many businesses got massive PPP loans canceled with no controversy. You can say it’s because of the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this pandemic, but that could easily have applied to student loans as well. It’s just that there was no campaign against PPP loan cancelation because it favored the people who have money and connections for such efforts. Most people I knew were eager to get masks when they weren’t in stock, were fine wearing them, and started to hate them once they were told to. Whatever anyone wants to think about it, I’m just sharing what I observed among my connections.
Because the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this country is rotten to the core by religious freaks trying to impose their beliefs on normal human beings. US up until recently had more liberal abortion protections than most of the world. Now it’s a mixed bag depending on state. No they have not. Do you actually pay attention to the news in other countries? Ireland only started allowing them a couple years ago. Have you paid any attention to Central and South America? I can go on but no most countries did not figure it out decades ago and are still figuring it out. I think Bill Burr’s take on this was pretty spot on. Basically, I think you should be allowed to have an abortion, but I also think you’re killing a baby. Look, no one has the right to use your body to sustain their own life. You can’t be forced to donate a kidney to save your son. You can’t even be forced to donate blood to save the life of your daughter. Would that be a shitty thing to do? I think most people would agree yes.! But it’s your right, it’s your body. By the same reasoning, you shouldn’t be required to let an unborn baby use your body to sustain itself. Not true. Even now, but especially so before Roe v. Wade was overturned, the US was (and still is) one of the most liberal countries when it comes to abortion. Science tells you the fact of the matter is- Life begins at conception. When a sperm and an egg come together, a unique person is created. It is something people celebrate. People hold Baby Showers when pregnant, because they are expecting a Baby, not a clump of cells, not a parasite, not some arbitrary appendage of the mother until it leaves her womb, it is a Baby growing inside of her. And what of the father- if we can put men on the hook for child support for 18 years, shouldn’t They get a say on carrying the child to term?
I guess I shouldn’t say Ever. Surely one day we’ll have a safe procedure to safely move a developing fetus and transplant it into an artificial womb. Is there No point prior to birth you see it as a baby? None? Truly? A woman could have her water break and in a panic at the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this thought of delivering a baby demand an abortion instead? A baby doesn’t just appear, it grows in the mother, SORRY for the inconvenience, perhaps though, their right to Life is more important than the inconvenience of carrying a child for 9 months. We also figured it out decades ago but the reactionaries are still trying to keep it in debate to avoid talking about a set of issues they have no interest in like climate change or healthcare or social security.
Yep….baffles me too. A developing nation like India has recognised this very early on and has a very balanced and rational take on it. Abortion can be done on the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this grounds such as rape-induced pregnancy, failure of contraception, socio-economic status not suitable for giving any child a good quality of life, congenital abnormalities detected before 20 weeks that would severely degrade quality of life. All you need is the recommendation of one physician before 12 weeks and 2 physicians between 12-20 weeks to ensure that the abortion is justified. This is followed by counselling about contraception to avoid future occurences. After 20 weeks, it’s completely illegal to conduct an abortion. Personally, this is a very fair take and balances both notions.
I come from a very religious country. The church believes it’s immoral (obviously) and most people agree. Some believe it’s a woman’s right but they’re in the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this minority. However, abortion is not a political topic and I’ve genuinely never heard it mentioned in political contexts (which, now that I think about it, is odd considering how much they talk about it in the US). EDIT: And for the record, abortion is not a religious topic and it isn’t treated as one anywhere besides America. We live in Mexico where it was until 7 September 2023, the Mexican Supreme Court unanimously ruled that penalising abortion is unconstitutional, setting an important precedent across the whole country. Some more conservative c countries move slower on certain issue. “”The unborn” are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus, but actually dislike people who breathe. Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.” Methodist Pastor David Barnhart
First of all, being pro-life has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity; it’s not supported by scripture, it is an entirely political concoction. Until the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this late 70s/early 80s, US evangelicals were very straight-forward about it having no biblical basis and it was refered to as “the Catholic issue.” This is an extreme tl;dr, but this is basically what happened: in response to desegregation, the GOP found most of their support in poorly-educated, rural, southern whites who were still very mad about desegregation. The GOP rode this same voter block into the Civil Rights movement for the same reason, and a cohesive “Solid South” was born. But these people were also deeply religious, and a lot of the republican platform didn’t appeal to them, so the main strategy of the late 60s through the 80s, was to find single-issue vote topics that would appeal to this new demographic monolith they’d created.
Conservatives admired Billy Graham’s success, but wanted televangelists that were more aligned with the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this party platform, so they created their own – Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. This was the beginning of the GOP guiding what evangelicals would hear when they sat down to learn about what they thought was what Jesus wanted them to do and believe. They had the “traditional family,” touting mothers at home, husbands in the workplace, and certainly no homosexuality whatsoever. They had a lot of thinly-veiled segregation issues, the “forced bussing,” school of choice, the war on drugs, etc.; and this is when private protestant schools became very popular as a way of excluding non-whites without breaking the new laws of the 50s and 60s. But then the GOP made one of the best strategic decisions they ever made; they had their televangelist arm of the party steal the topic of abortion from the Catholics and talk about it like it had always been an evangelical issue. They spent a lot of money and ran ads and billboards and such for the 1978 election cycle. That’s basically the exact year you can say that abortion became an evangelical protestant issue.
It was wildly successful and it obviously stuck. It is not part of the Washington Commanders Wins 18 15 Chicago Bears 2024 Week 8 Final Score Shirt moreover I love this “holy trinity” of single-issue votes among the modern right: guns, abortion, and homosexuals. Run on those in the south and you win elections. All they want in return is the repeal of the First Amendment, so that they can finally make this a “Christian nation.” It took 70 years, but the white nationalists and the Christian nationalists are finally almost the exact same circle of the Venn diagram, and abortion was the one critical piece they were missing right up until almost 1980. Well on one hand you have a group saying they should be allowed to abort whenever they want to. The other side says you can’t because it’s killing a child because their body their choice. The nuance there is that while it seems like no one tries to meet in the middle it’s already happened; abortion is illegal under all circumstances except for rape (marital or not), medical emergencies, incest.
